Awwwww those poor doggies..They were lucky enough to find you and Collin..I know that my husband always gave our animals, broth from soups..he would poor it over their food..or eggwhites mixed in..Or the juice from canned meat..also if we had gravy with a meal he would poor the left over on top of the dogs dry food and mix it in for them. As for names..hmmmm....Well for the girl..what about Nakita?? I love that name for a female dog! I will have to think for the boy..LOL..Prince and Lord Byron come to mind..heehee |

Yeah, but I was wanting discriptive of their behavior, our animals have always had careful selected names. Lady, I love those names. I may try a search on names, but, they would have to fit....Romeo and Juliet came to mind but, they Died! ...so, I like Nasrtradamus for the male, he deeply loved his wife and if you know the story of their relationship then you can see how it fits. The female? Im still not sure. |

Hi TEX, after reading your story of the dogs I was thinking being that they are a loyal couple and our USM founders are a loyal couple how about George and Ginger? They just celebrated 30 years of wedded bliss. I don't think they would be offended. Just a thought... Old Lada |

Yes I think George and Ginger would be great, but, I named two of our cats George and Ginger, their behavior portrayed G&G's so it fit, I also have a ton of cats named after many USMERS...lol.....I like the Zeuse and Hara...but, the male dog is far to faithful to her and the female is very submissive. So....I gotta find another. |

Adam and Eve. Corny I know but the devotion they show each other to me fits the names. Your first post made me cry and I am so happy to know these two dogs found an Angel when they wandered into your yard. I wonder how they knew they could count on you? Makes you wonder doesn't it. Hugs |
