Date: 8/3/2002 2:20:00 PM From Authorid: 1631 Well, people do pay for kinky sex and other strange thrills. I guess this guy should get kudos for being an opportunist in a capitalist world, but it certainly is in poor taste. I have a feeling one good lawsuit will shut this business down... |
Date: 8/3/2002 2:21:00 PM From Authorid: 44850 cheers for my reply? oh, no my friend . . . cheers for the story . . . i do find this story a bit odd, however, well, i am not at all suprised . . . i mean really, in the 'reality t.v.' placed society that seems to be the trend right now . . . it was only a matter of time, that people were tired of watching others' realities, and wanted to have experience a reality outside of reality (so to speak) for themselves .... man, what ever happened to READING for entertainment and learning for a 'thrill' .... *sigh* .... oh, well, *cheers again for the post* ... |
Date: 8/3/2002 2:30:00 PM From Authorid: 24732 That's really strange. But I guess if they feel like throwing their money away I won't stop them. |

Date: 8/3/2002 2:35:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21867 Yo Ali, Thats what passed through my mind as well...how open is this guy/company leaving themselves for a lawsuit...oh well, dabble in it and ya might get bit. Cheers for ya reply. Peace, |
Date: 8/3/2002 2:37:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21867 Yo SP, Yes indeed...this 'Reality' driven entertainment could well be getting outa hand...I wonder how far away are we really from seeing a Reality-Based show where people are killed...as freaked as that may be, I suspect it'll probably be in the works some time in the future. Cheers for ya reply. Peace, |

oh, absolutely . . . remember timothy mcviegh's execution . . . while sure, it was only meant for victims of the families .... the want for more was there . . . which also leads me to that stephen king book (turned to movie) the running man . . . did you ever read/see that one? |
Date: 8/3/2002 2:45:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21867 Yep SP...read the book and saw the movie. Totally agree...one only needs to look at some of the more dodgy Foriegn gameshows...Asian ones in particular...that have contestants in VERY dangerous situations which often result in injuries to contestants to see that we are on the slippery slope already...heading towards a future Gameshow where fatality is a very real possibility. Cheers for checking back. Peace, |
Date: 8/3/2002 2:49:00 PM From Authorid: 42792 well I always say that if any one of us in this world can think of something "unthinkable" then it has most likely already happened. There is no such thing as unthinkable. People are sick...all of us in one way or an other. Some people are bored with convential sickness and have a never ending appetite for destruction. Humans are the largest and most dangerous form of parasites, IMO...bothers me to think I am part of that. Oh well. What can you do? |
Date: 8/3/2002 2:54:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21867 Yo NKA, Totally agree with ya...like the character Agent Smith (hehehe) on the movie The Matrix says "Human beings are a virus...a plague...and we are the cure". I also recall reading the News a while ago of a woman that was advertising for someone to 'rape' her! Gees...I kid you not...this lady had put an advert in a singles mag, requesting someone meet her and discuss details as to how and where she could be 'raped'...all pre-arranged and staged of course, but for goodness sake, thats just sick sick sick. Not surprisingly when the story hit the News there was quite an uproar, particularily from Rape Crisis Centres etc. Cheers for ya reply. Peace, |
Date: 8/3/2002 6:09:00 PM From Authorid: 27678 AS, hey man, sorry, that I posted this too. Seems we're on the same news sites, anyway, if not the same "wavelenght." I personally know a few peeps I wouldn't mind having your mates "play with," but it'd be a crime here, believe me! Oh, vell, ve vill not mess up any swine before it's time! |

Yo FreeGirl, No problem buddy...and yep, I think we probably do frequent the same News sites, rather than get spoon-fed the easily digestable overcooked garbage most News Media seem ever-increasingly guilty of. Hehehe...yeah, some of my mates are a worry...even for me Cheers for ya reply. Peace, |
Date: 7/13/2007 10:03:00 AM From Authorid: 62918 Oh yeah, I totally wanna be kidnapped. So fun!!! Not. What are these people thinking??? Oh, wait, they aren't... I agree with Ali, btw... Great post! Thanks for sharing! |
