I flew my flag before Sept 11th and will fly it up to the day I die. Now I understand what you are saying but my problem is if they want to attack Americas politics then you go after the people that make the rules, you don't go after the mothers and fathers and children that have nothing to do with it. To me it is a coward that does that. Right now our government is talking about attacking Iraq.. Why you ask, well I ask the same question everyday and people over there seeing our news stories about it I am sure are as confused as I am, I have written every political person I can think of for an answer, to date I have heard no reason.. I could see why the other countries would hate us, but "I" am not the one doing it so WHY would they come after me? I myself think we need to cut off every other country and worry about our land and the other countries need to do the same. Think of all the money these and our country would save, all the people that could have homes, all the children that would not go to bed hungry. I guess I am rambleing now aren't I, so I guess I best get off of this now. Very good post.  |

no nothing can justify the Targeting of civilin non combatants in any conflict. I agree that what the west has done to the arab nations was wrong, and that there needs to be some justice, but in the end the west took money, welth, curincy...and the terroists took lives. not lives that were guilty of some crime or soldgers who were oppressing them...thay took the lives of firemen who spent their lives saving people, workers like busboys in restraunts who were only trying to save up for college, secritatries who left there kids in daycare only to leave them orphens...how did this acomplish anything other then inhearit the hate and angre of the familys left behind. BOo  |

I get what your saying but thats not what 911 was about in my opinion. I've always loved my country even before 911. 911 wasn't the first attack on AMerican or even the wtc. So are you sayin that 911 was just a way of getting even? 1000s of people died! Yes I admit people die everyday from starvation, malnutrition, and disease. But America also has its own problems. We have people everyday that die of starvation, malnutrition, and disease. How should they be any different. And try to remember we tried to help them and what did we get? I hope my point is taken.  |

Sorry 55089. You can argue that until the cows come home over this noble issue.(Mideast/ and Arabs do not care about those things. WAKE UP!!! They want Jews out of what they percieve as thier country) Peace will only happen when jews no longer exist there. They have no right to feel this way and militants are making people hungry for the cause!!!! I think we have always cared about the poor and hungry (more than we can say for other countries who have an evil agenda)) By the way, how kind of you, to care about 9/11. Wish you could have seen the REAL horror of it all and seen the many who left love ones behind. As for the victims, CIVILIANS were true innocents.As long as terrorists exist, you will have greedy, bloodthirthirsty dictators/terroists in our mist.  |

To 46515: When you said that "Peace will only happen when jews no longer exist" how do you back that up with facts/evidence?You don't call Jews going into Palestinian homeland and wiping them out in war a genocide--I personally call it one. And i never said that i don't care about 911, as a matter of fact i regret this day even happening. Everyone was affected by 911: Americans,Arabs,Pakis,Irish,etc... ppl from all different countries/nations have died in WTC on 911. PS-->Jews live in Israel. Palestinians live in Palestine, how are Palestinians "perceiving" Palestine as their country. Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians. Im not against you or any1 that agrees with you, i just speak up for what i think is right, and i speak out my opininons. |

Palestinan homeland is for Palestinians, why can't the Jews/Israelis stay in their own homeland Israel...why do they have to go invade/have war with the Palestinians?This is my opinion, whether you agree or not. |
