This Is A Story About USMers Who Played My GAME (^_^)...........~SpaceCase

One sunny summer day, American Girl" was watering her zuchinni plants when she got the idea to throw a little party. She always came to USM to read posts and thought she might post the invite for USMers that lived on her island. ;)

There weren't too many people online that day, but the ones who were, and lived on Zoolou Island with her, responded within minutes. Shakira Babe" offered to go shopping for snacks, for she loved any excuse to shop! American Girl" agreed that would be a wonderful idea, and Shakira Babe* was off for the party supplies. :P

Sandy Cheeks" asked American Girl" if it would be alright to bring her bat and ball. Of course our ALL-AMERICAN American Girl" loved the idea and was sure she could get a good game of ball started, if the weather was right. :D

While clicking through post after post, American Girl's" invitation caught Flame On's" attention. He also lived on the island and didn't have anything better to do since the Comic Book shop was under reconstruction, so he told her he'd be there, as long as she covered any Mickey Mouse momentos she may have around the house.

Though American Girl" found the request strange, she obliged, covering her little statuette of American Mickey with her favorite children's book, An American Tale. ;)

She received a few more replies from fellow islanders and was happy that her little party was a go! Lucy Ricardo" even promised to come in her Lucy-wear and perform her favorite scenes from I Love Lucy, which was exciting because American Girl" had heard about Lucy Ricardo" and had always wanted to meet her. :)

Yummy eyez" mentioned that she would like to try out a new art technique by borrowing Sandy Cheek's" softball. Like her basketball art, she hoped to find inspiration on American Girl's" beach-front dunes. Wild Bob" had been looking for a good reason to go biking, so he accepted her invite as well.

When the day arrived, American Girl" kept her nerves cool by cozing up in her favorite chair with a good book. Before she knew it, the doorbell rang and her first guest had arrived. It was StarChaser", and she brought her favorite movie "A Knight's Tale" along with her just in case the dark clouds in the sky carried rain. :O

Bigs" showed up next and brought his favorite chips and a seven layer dip he made himself. American Girl" loved seven layer dip too and her tummy grumbled at the thought. ;) Flame-On" came and Sandy Cheeks" was right on his tail. She was equiped with bat, ball and glove and looked too cute with her hat turned around backwards. In fact, she was soooo cute that Wild Bill" liked to have peddled his way right into American Girl's" main entrance!! :P

Everyone knew when Lucy Ricardo" arrived, because instead of ringing the doorbell, she yelled, "RIIIICKYY!!" :D She was a carbon copy of the famous red-headed comedianne and everyone just loved her little snip-it impressions.

Shakira Babe" finally arrived with two big bags in her arms and more in the car. The motley crew happily helped unload the goodies and American Girl" led them to her kitchen. Then, the door bell rang again. American Girl" counted heads just to make sure...yep everyone was accounted for, but she had to answer the door, so they all followed her back into the main entrance.

The stranger dressed in black introduced herself as DuckieLover". Instantly everyone welcomed her inside, and they all headed into the kitchen to continue setting out the goodies that Shakira Babe" happily shopped for.

After munching down on the fabulous array of treats, the crew of USM islanders headed outdoors for a game of softball. Star Chaser" headed straight for the water because it was too hot in her opinion to be anywhere else while outdoors. :D Flame-On pitched and Sandy Cheeks" batted while Yummy eyez" painted a portrait of the two of them in action.

After two seconds, Lucy Ricardo" realized that she was over dressed for the beach and offered to fix up an afternoon snack, and Shakira Babe" offered to help. American Girl" thought nothing of it and sent the two back inside. Wild Bob" followed the girls because he couldn't resist a woman in a kitchen!

DuckieLover" was busy floating rubber duckies in the shallow water and Bigs" had fallen asleep on his beach towel. Everyone was so uniquely different that it made American Girl" take pause. She found it beautiful that though eveyone was so different, everyone was the same as well. Fellow islanders, fellow USMers, fellow citizens of America!

Then the rain began. Everyone left outside ran quickly inside only to discover a big mess and a frustrated Lucy Ricardo" covered in flour, with Shakira Babe" too overwhelmed to even begin to clean up the tremendous mess. All you could do was laugh, it was like I Love Lucy gone LIVE!! So all of the USMers, except Bigs", who was still asleep, in the rain, on his surely soaked beach towel, helped American Girl" get her kitchen straightened up, uncovering a ghostly pale Wild Bob" in the process!! They then the settled in to watch A Knight's Tale before heading home, each in a different direction.

Exhausted, but as happy as pie, American Girl" slid back down into her favorite chair and reflected on hr happy summer day with her USM companions.
