My poem dedicated to a friend - PUNKy_CHiK

Well this is a poem I wrote for a dear friend I never said goodbye to. Long story, so please don't question me about it. I thought of it from the top of my head. It is all my emotions pouring out so excuse me if its a little mooshy. I am depressed and I had to get it out somehow.

RACHEL

I sit here as time flies by,

Staring as you silently cry.


The days were slipping away fast,

And I wanted to comfort you at last.


Knowing what I did and what I could've done,

I tried, I failed, when I should have won.


May you be blessed upon God's grace,

Wipe that sadness from your face.


Replace it with your beautiful smile,

Because you won't be seeing me in awhile.


My broken heart must now mend,

Today is the day I lost a true friend.


I never even got to say goodbye,

And for forever I will wonder why.


Today I was ready and my chance was blown away,

But maybe we'll meet again... sometime, someday.
