As a child growing up without a father,James Edwards mother Nancy kept him away from other children in fear that she would lose him to.Although Nancys husband didn't die he left her the very day James was born.Ever since she's been heart broken and has nervous breakdowns.She has a history of medical problems such as migraines and nervous habbits anyways and her husband Rick leaving her didn't help at all.Her family had all moved away and she had nobody to turn to.So she had to raise James on her own through his whole life which was not an easy thing to do.She couldn't work anywhere because of her mental condition but she did have alot of money in the bank from when she was a baby so she went and got it all out.She lived in her parents old house so she had a place to live at least.As James grew out of his todler years Nancy decided to put him in school but later decided not to in fear of her losing him and being lonely.James was 4 now and had never played with or even seen another kid in his lifetime.So naturally he had created imaginary friends since the only person he knew in the world was his mother Nancy.She had showed him pictures of his father Rick and he would ask questions about him and she would tell him the truth about him leaving her and him both.Although James didn't understand completely he knew that his daddy wasn't coming home.One day Nancy was cleaning the house when she heard James talking to someone and she said "James,who are you talking to babe?""My friend"he replied.Curiously she peaked her head into the door way and seen him watching tv sitting on the floor next to the chair."Why aren't you sitting in the chair"Nancy asked."Rosco likes to sit there".James said.She started to get a headache at the very thought of James having any contact with any individuals."Stop making up people James!"She yelled."Sorry mommy."sadly said James.So Nancy got out some pills and took a couple and went in to take a break from cleaning because her head hurt."Stay in here James mommy's gonna take a nap.""Ok."said James.About two hours later Nancy still hadn't gotten out of bed yet so James decided to quietly walk into her room to see why she hadn't fixed him any supper."Mommy?"he whispered at her door."Mommy wake up im hungry."He said.He waited a minute and opened the door.There she was all pale faced and eyes wide open.James went over to shake her but got no reply."Mommy!"He screamed."Wake up mommy why wont you wake up!".He had noone to call,noone to turn to and nobody to even know about this.Nancy had died of an overdose.So he had nothing better to do then to go cry in his room and scream.A few hours had passed and he went in to get something to eat not having anything to do.He was only 5 years old and wasnt old enough to do anything about anything."James"a voice whispered softly."James,what happened to mommy?"James looked around and nervously replied "Who are you?""Rosco"the voice replied softly."Oh hi rosco"James said not nervously anymore because Rosco was his only friend."What happened to mommy James?"asked Rosco softly.Rosco was just a voice in his head and could see at certain times.More of a dilusion."Mommy wouldn't wake up"said James."Do you know why James?"asked Rosco.James put down his spoon."Why?"he asked."BECAUSE I KILLED HER!I KILLED HER!I KILLED HER!"Rosco screamed loudly and showed himself to James.James seen him as a shadow with eyes,red eyes.James began to cry and scream."Why are you screaming?!""What do you meen you killed her!?"He began crying harder and harder.Rosco began taunting James and told him to kill him for what he did."Kill me James stab me kill me for killing mommy!""No,go away!"screamed James.Rosco wouldn't shut up.James just kept hearing this voice probably from all the confusion and never communicating with any person in his 5 short years of living."Come on little guy kill me!"screamed Rosco."Fine!I will kill you Rosco!"James ran to the silverware drawer and pulled out a small knife."Ha!You're gonna need something bigger then that!"James put it back and grabbed the biggest butcher knife.James seen a small grin on Roscos dark shadowy face."Come get me!"Rosco tauntingly squealed.James began running after him stabbing the wall,the couch and magazines seeing this unrealistic being run away and taunt him.Suddenly it went into his mother.Not even having his focus on his mother James started stabbing his mother where he seen Roscos head sticking out.As soon as he stabbed Roscos head went back in.His arm popped out so James stabbed at that spot.Everytime He'd stick a body part out James would stab it.All of a sudden James heard this nasty squeling sound and blacked out for a second.Slowly he got back up only to see his dead mother with about 10 stab wounds to the face and body."What did I do mommy what did I do!?"he started climbing on top of her crying.Although the closest person that lived to them was about 2 miles away there were some people jogging by while all this was happening.It was about 2:00 pm and they heard screaming at the house of a child so they hurried and ran home and got the cops and brought them there.The officer knocked on the door."Anybody home?"he yelled.He looked in the window and seen blood on the carpet."Goin in!"He screamed.Him and his partner busted down the door and went in and got out their guns."You go upstairs,Ill go downstairs."he told the other cop.As he was walking in he seen the trail of blood and began to follow it.He walked into the hallway and seen Nancys door half open.He slowly opened it only to see a dead woman laying there with multiple stab wounds to the face and chest and everywhere he could see!"Steve!"He yelled to the other officer."Get in here we got a murder.The two women that brought the cops in came running in out of fear and curiousity."Get outta here!"The officer screamed.The two women,Rebecca and Amy didn't listen and they looked in the bedroom and seen the woman."OH MY GOD!"They both paniced."I told you."said the officer."Who could of done this?This woman didn't even know anyone."said Amy."Did she have any family?asked the officer."Well I heard screaming from a child so hes gotta be in here somewhere,poor kid probably doesn't know what to think.""Then who could of killed her if the kids the only one here?""I have no clue."Said Amy.All of a sudden they heard alot of noise downstairs like people were fighting."It's coming from downstairs!"Said one of the officers."Stay here!"He said to Amy and Rebecca.The two officers went downstairs and seen only one door in the basement and yelled "FREEZE!"The noise didn't stop.They heard a kid screaming so they barged open the door.Just as soon as they did the noise stopped and the lights were off.They seen nothing.The two officers were getting very nervous."Turn on the light"one of them said nervously.So he got out his flashlight and right when he found the lightswitch he felt something in his leg."Ahhhhhhh!"he heard a scream.He threw his flashlight down and ran out!The other officer looked and seen the little kid in the darkness of the large room."Stop yelling at me!"screamed James."Put the knife down."nervously said the officer.James began running at him so the other officer said "Shoot him!""He's just a kid I can't shoot him!""Shoot the knife!"The officer took steady aim and shot at the knife while James was running at him.James fell to the ground screaming!"Oh no!"said the officer.James heard a loud shreak and blacked out again."I hit him in the shoulder!"Said the officer."We gotta get him to a hospital fast.So they called for an ambulance for the wounded officer and James and a coroner to pick up Nancy.James woke up in a place he knew wasn't his house.They had him strapped down from what the wounded officer said that he did to his leg.James began screaming and the nurse ran into the room."Doctor!"she yelled.The Doctor gave him some medicine and calmed him down.He was so nervous because he'd never been out of his house and never even seen a soul in his life.Later on a couple officers came in to question the young confused scared James."James."James looked up at the officer."What happend to mommy?We didn't find anyone else in the house but you."James began telling them about how his mother died first and he heard the voice of his imaginary friend Rosco and how he had never had any friends before or seen anyone.They wrote it all down and the next day the coroners report came back about Nancy dying from an overdose and not the stab wounds.This put the officers and all the people in shock now because they all knew James was telling the truth.The doctor decided to put James into a mental hospital for a while of course.James didn't like it but was still too young to really understand any of this.At 5 years old you can't even tie your own shoes.He gave James some medicine and told him that Rosco would go away and that it wasn't his fault about what happened to his mommy.So they finally shipped James over to the mental hospital and so James pretty much grew up in that place but not since he was 5 had he seen or heard Rosco.That doesn't meen he ever forgot about him.When James turned 19 he was still in the mental hospital since he had no place to go and no family and the only other person he knew of was his father but had ran off before he was born.They cops had given James all the pictures that his mom ever kept of her and Rick,Jamess father.James was fine around people as long as he had his medicine and there was no chance of Rosco ever coming out again.One night before going to sleep he forgot to take his medicine because he stayed up all night watching tv.So he went to sleep not even realizing the consequences he could face."James"James woke up suddenly and heard a voice."James""He looked at the clock in his small room and realized that he forgot his medicine."What do you want?!"James screamed."You're job isn't finished James!YOU KNOW HOW LONG I"VE BEEN WAITING ALONE IN THE DARK!?""Stop screaming at me Rosco!I know you're not real!""Oh I'm more real than you think!""Shut up!Leave me alone you sick minded freak!""I'm not the one hearing voices!"said Rosco.While James began going for the door Rosco said "You're job isn't finished yet!You have to kill me to get rid of me!Grab a knife James!Stab me!Kill me!.James ran out shaking his head and then got his medicine out of his pocket and took some."Don't over dose like your mother James"said the voice."Shut up about my mother!""You're mother was nothing and she never will be it's her fault that you're crazy!""Shut up!"screamed James."Kill me James!KILL ME NOW!"James walked into the lunch room of the building and looked around for a knife."You want me to kill you Rosco I'll do it!"Come get me!"Rosco screamed.Rosco appeared in front of James and James began stabbing at him but Rosco kept running away farther and farther."Too slow!"screamed Rosco.Rosco ran back into the hallway of rooms where other patients slept and James followed.James had his mind set on one thing and thats killing Rosco no matter what it takes."Don't go in other peoples rooms!"Screamed James."Kill me JAMES KILL ME!"James went after him into another patients room.Rosco entered the other patients body and James tried to fight it a lot but just couldn't so he stabbed at Roscos head as it popped out of the girls shoulder.She woke up and screamed "What are doing!SOMEONE HELP ME!"Roscos hand popped out of her stomach so James stabbed there.It just kept going back in and out over and over and as soon as the girl was dead Rosco seen that people were awakened so he went in other people.People began to run but Rosco entered a young boy so James began stabbing him everywhere he seen Rosco pop out over and over until Rosco had left!Rosco only left when they died.So finally,someone had called the cops and rushed in seeing James stab somebody so they told him to put the knife down.James just kept on stabbing and stabbing and then suddenly Rosco went into one of the cops so James began running towards him."Shoot!"a cop screamed.They all started shooting him in the legs!After two or three shots in the legs James fell to the ground.James heard a loud noise and blacked out again.He woke up in another hospital."Nurse!"he screamed.A nurse came running in to calm James down.When James was calm a man came in to talk to James about what had happened.James told him about how Rosco had made him kill and that he didn't meen to kill anyone."Why is it that everyone of these people you killed were your blood realitives?""What?"asked James nervously."Ya the two patients you killed and the cop you were running after were your cousin Stacy Edwards,your little cousin Brett and your uncle David,your fathers brother.The cops you were attacking when you were 5 were of no relation.You were just scared when you attacked them but we've been studying all these murders you've commited and they were all your blood relation.Only the ones you actually killed are.The two cousins were in the hospital for mental reasons to.I guess mental illness runs in the family."David was in the room with them."Ya that's right James,I'm your uncle.I never knew that Rick had any kids.""Oh my God I have family?"replied James."Yes you do."said David.Although you've killed plenty of them."Where's my dad Rick!Why isn't he hear now?!""He died the night you were born on the way home from the hospital after he left your mother.""He died?"asked James."Yes,I'm sorry James I would of told you everything but I didn't even know you existed.""Im sorry I tried to kill you it was all Roscos doing."said James"Rosco?!""Ya haven't you heard about Rosco the voice in my head asked James nervously.........."Rosco was the nick name I gave your dad when we were kids."
