Have you tried talking with her? Let her know it bothers you. They do say that men marry their mothers. If you don't want to deal with this all over again, you really need to let her know how you feel in a "calm" way. She needs to find other outlets to deal with stress from work. Also, stress from work is no excuse for being a slob. She's grown and big enough to clean up her own messes. It's not fair that you have to do it. |

Talk, HA. It's hard for some people to start talking about a serious topic. it's not easy if you don't know how. I suggest you to talk to her about some small stuff first to ease off with (in a relaxing situation!) and then get to it, you shouldn't just lay it on her too fast, it gets tense once you get into the conversation. |
