I know it's a pain to drag a 2 year old in and out of the car, I have one. But wouldn't common sense tell you to roll the windows down, turn the car off and make sure the kid is in his carseat. Better, just take the kid out of the car and deal with it. It's awful that this kind of thing keeps happening. ![]() |

I guess some moms are just so rushed that they feel they do not have the time to take extra steps to protect their kids. I have kids but I never left them in the car (possibly because I lived in Northern Ireland while the eldest was tiny and could not leave him in a car with British Reg Plates even for thr shortest time!) ![]() |

We also see, every summer news reports of mothers who have left children and even babies in the car and the child has died from the heat. There are laws regarding not leaving children in the car unattended. It is a sad fact that the law is not enforced until tragedy strikes. When will parents ever learn to use common sence? Let this story and the many similar stories be a warning to those of you who have children. Better to deal with a squiming, fussy child in a public place than to lose that child forever. - ladyladonna ![]() |

It's awful to read this about mothers forgetting their child. I guess it must take something like that situation to be a eye-opener for the mother not to make another mistake like that again, atleast you'd hope so. ![]() |

Lady LaDonna - I couldn't agree more. I have a 2 year old. I know it's a pain but I'd rather deal with him fussing than to never have him again. He's my pride and joy. It just boggles the mind who parents can justify leaving their child for just a moment and the next thing they no that child has died or is missing. It's very sad. ![]() |
