Should Medical Marijuana Be Legal?

  Author: 57957  Category:(Discussion) Created:(7/13/2002 11:31:00 PM)

Great Britain has just changed policies on Marijuana. Basically it's a non-arrestable offense. In the US marijuana is classified with hard drugs such as LSD and methamphetamines. Should marijuana be downgraded to a less serious drug? Many states would like to allow Medical Marijuana but they can't because it's still against Federal Law. Should doctors decide which patients they can prescribe it to. (After all they ARE allowed to prescribe oxycodone and morphine!) Should states be allowed to decide their own laws? Or should the Federal Government decide for everybody? What do you think?

The only thing is, if Dr.s can perscribe it, than think of how many people will fake sick, whatever it is that they are going to perscribe it for. But also, at the same time. It would save the government a lot of money because they would not have to fight it so hard. --MorbidThoughts

And all you needed to do was have 'hurt' yourself or some other silly thing. Or maybe the many people that told me this were just lying. Oh well, who cares anyway?? --MorbidThoughts
