(AS YOU WILL SEE LATER! MY poem is part of a bigger one that Sage has put together...i just wanted to share my part!)
You think you are safe in your warm little bed
But visions of violence dance in your head
You thought i was fake? Not sure if i'm real?
Well, just sit back and take another pill.
Swallow it hard, swallow it fast
While things around, blur to the past
A past of rememrence, or time that were
Alone in the corner, you hear a cat purr
The dark assasin and his feline friend sit
You can hear a little, but only a bit
They talk of a death soon to be
You sit in prayer, hoping "not me"
They turn thier heads and peer at you
I guess all that praying just didn't do
Nightmare and Shifter grin at each other
Shaking hands then high-fiving one another
They get up and walk, comming closer to you
You pray a little harder, but your prayers don't do
One of them pounces, but you don't know who
Striking your heart, their hand going through
You fall to the ground, seeing blood on the floor
you look up and reach for the long away door
The other pulls you up and scratches your face
They let you fall to the ground and are gone with no trace
You drift off slowly, dying quicker and fast
Your almost dead, then you hear a big blast!
Your mind rushes forward, time comes to a stop
You're back in your bed, not knowing the plot
A vision you think, or maybe a dream?
Must've been wild, demonic in theme.
Look round your corner, look for me
