Looking for - Unknown mother or father

When my mother died, I was told by her sister that I was adopted. I have not found any other infomation about this, except when I wanted to replace my birth certificate I was told all my records were sealed by the state. I am looking for birth mother or father or any information regarding this adoption. A family friend related I was "bought" through a newspaper advertisement and all relevant paperwork was completed by an attorney. If you know of someone who gave birth to a little girl in March 1944 and gave her up for adoption in the state of Indiana, or if you are looking for this child, please, please contact me through unsolved mysteries. This is very important to me and my children especially the medical issues.

Need medical information. Also need to fill the hole in my life, the above information left me feeling alone, unwanted, unloved....need help with this mystery.
