Why Does There Seem to be More Violence Toward Bi Men then Bi Women?

I noticed it, between attacks you here about, or from watching the reactions of others. I was just wondering why this seems to be. Do you believe there is any particular reason this occurs? I thought it might just be that women, even straight, are a lot more 'open'. You know, giving each other hugs when they meet, etc. (not that everyone does that) or something, but I would like to hear your opinion. ] lets Debate

Date: 7/13/2002 9:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 19875    Thats because our society is homophobic and predecided ideas of what makes men manly keep dictating our society towards making sure men like women and that women stay there to entertain men, wheather that be by being with the men or being with other women......ok, I'm done now.
Date: 7/13/2002 9:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 45684    I've noticed that homosexuality is more accepted in women. I'm not exactly sure why that is, but my theory is that men are more open to women being lesbians because it isn't an insult to their masculinity. (not that I think it is, or that I think all men think that way, but I'm sure some do) And because they want to watch??? hehehe
Date: 7/13/2002 10:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 20750    Because men like the idea of 2 women together!! Plain & simple!
Date: 7/13/2002 10:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 7654    You know somewhere WAYYYYYY back in time I think someone must have written it down in stone that if a man shows any kind of emotion or effection that they were, what do you say? A little strange..And anyone seen around them was also given them that same mark..Sad isn't it? I mean that a man can't show emotion openly to a friend without taking a big chance in gitting jumped on by the other men..Women on the other hand seem to have it alittle easier, heck, everyone knows that females are always showing their emotions..Yeah maybe they do get a few looks here and there and maybe the people doing the looking arn't sure..
Date: 7/13/2002 10:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 19460    well, i dont care one way or the other. If its man on man or woman on woman, its up to the person doing it, not me.
Date: 7/13/2002 10:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    think girl on girl is more popular with men then guy on girl.. and females don't rarely fight they mostly just verbally harras and call names...
Date: 7/13/2002 11:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 55689    I think moongirl has a point..a very good point.. but anyway maybe its just the way they were brought up or they could think it's the woman's problem.. when it comes to bi-woman... hmm..

Date: 7/14/2002 12:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 27270    It's plain and simple...men are threatened by bi-sexuality and more apt to disagree than we women are. The majority "homophobes" are men, therefore...
Date: 7/14/2002 7:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 47696    I have heard this subject many times but women
are very open not like men. Some men have to much
of an ego therefore emotions and stuff like boys
dont cry has been programed into there brains.

Date: 7/14/2002 8:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 57054    i've also noticed that bi men get a lot more crap then bi women. i think that lesbians have come to be more acceptable for some reason... i once heard a man say that "to see two women together is a beautiful thing, but to see two men together is not." i guess this is just his own personal opinion but i think that a lot of people agree with him. and also, lesbians always seem to turn guys on... but gay men do not turn most women on... i don't know why this is. ¤RoCkBaBe¤
Date: 7/15/2002 10:24:00 AM  From Authorid: 54987    I think it's because men are more aggressive than women. You find that attacks on gay men are more prevalent than gay women. Women, I feel, are more naturally affectionate towards other women, and wouldn't jump to the conclusion that a woman was gay so they would not feel as threatened by gay women. Men, on the other hand, have a huge macho ego thing that prevents them from expressing affection to another man for fear of being thought gay. I'm not speaking for all men or all women when I give my opinion. There will always be exceptions, it's just what I've experienced and observed. There are those men, of course, who are overly aggressive towards gay men which it has been said is because they reflect something in them that they cannot face. People fear what they don't understand. Fear begets violence. Another thing maybe is that people think bi people have the best of both worlds. I think, on the other hand, that they get the worst of both worlds LOL. Promiscuity, whether hetro/homo or bi makes one more vulnerable to disease. Coolade

Date: 7/15/2002 4:28:00 PM  From Authorid: 54987    If a man was straight, would he be willing to be picked up Og? Ummmmm ... Coolade
