The Cold Breath of Death

I was sleeping one night, thinking about dark things, when all of a sudden I heard this deep, cold breathing over me. I felt no breath, but I was scared. So I turned around on my back and saw... death. A black thing in a big cloak, with no face or anything else at all. It was not your "traditional" image of the Grim Reaper, but it scared the crap outta me. It was real tall and menacing, breathing over me every second. I screamed really loud, and to my surprise it vanished into thin air. I went and turned the lights on in my bedroom, and no one was there.

Was I dreaming, or what? I don't remember waking up!

I now fear the abnormal, and whenever I hear the slightest sound I am on full alert.
