You finally retruned after a while away
My heart skipped a beat I didn't know what to say
It seems like forever that you were gone
And I figured if we met again I wouldn't sing the same old song
But something proved me wrong tonight
Because once they said you were back it just seemed so right
I sat and hid my face
Trying to think of things I erased
Of how I felt having you near
And how just seeing you made my mind clear

Then you put your arms around me and smiled with hello
And it bugged me cause from that moment I hoped you wouldn't let go
Then you sat down with some friends
And I thought thats where this story ends
Until I decide to leave my place and go out
Thats when a frown formed on your face that gave me thoughts of doubt
You asked me where I would be going and why I would go away
And I said I know its my party but I can not stay
And with my heart beating faster then I could speak
I jump in the car and my knees got weak
Because seeing you not wanting me to go
Made the night go by so slow

Because I wanted you near me
Like I thought it should be
I wanted to hold you
And see you smile like you do
But I can't say it anymore
I can't go so deep in my core
To tell you once again
To remember the times when
I fell for you and wanted you to
And now that your back I can't figure out what to do
