A Darker Shade of Night, Part 5 - The Search ~*~CinnamonRain~*~

Dr. Andrew James sat quietly in his office, his head resting on his desk. He winced slightly, taking out a small bottle of white pills and taking two with a sip of water. The pain in his head slowly started to ebb as the painkillers kicked in. Finally, after a few moments, he was able to lift his head from his desk and start to read over the neatly stapled package of papers on it, although he knew the entire thing by heart.

Analysis Report

Mind Enhancing Drugs (MED), Series 14, 16, 31, and 83.

Test Subjects

Name: Michael Rogan

Age at which MED Series 14 was administered: 3 yrs.

Present Age: 18 yrs.

Initial Effect of Drug: Negative

Re-evaluation of subject: Possibility of Pyrokinesis, manipulation of fire by the mind.

Name: Isabel Thompson

Age at which MED Series 16 was administered: 3 yrs.

Present Age: 18 yrs.

Initial Effect of Drug: Negative

Re-evaluation of subject: Possibility of Cryokinesis, manipulation of ice by the mind.

Name: Sierra Logan

Age at which MED Series 31 was administered: 3 yrs.

Present Age: 18 yrs

Initial Effect of Drug: Negative

Re-evaluation of subject: Possibility of Aerokinesis, manipulation of air by the mind.

Name: Joshua McHardy

Age at which MED Series 83 was administered: 3 yrs.

Present Age: 18 yrs

Initial Effect of Drug: Negative

Re-evaluation of subject: Possibility of Electokinesis, manipulation of electrical currents by the mind.

Dr. James sighed, his brow knitted in frustration. The sheet he had been reading was one of many recent analysis reports of all the test subjects that had been part of the MED project 15 years before. As of yet, none but those four and himself had had any recent changes since the initial testing. When he realised that they might have some potential, Dr. James had tried to contact them, only to discover, to his distress, that they had all gone missing. Over the past 24 hours, Dr. James had been testing the limits of one of his own abilities of Telepathy to try and locate them all. Another pained sigh escaped his lips, but he closed his eyes and prepared to search for them again. He did not want to think of the possibilities of what could happen if he failed to find them...
