The sea was a mist
and all over the ice-caps
little penguins rose from their naps
But one little penguin
partied all night
eating pizza and drinking pop
had awoken in fright
He had been lying in
the middle of the cold
lying in the snow
that glittered like gold
He was surrounded by penguins laughing at him
making him feel bad
his eyes filled with tears
and he felt incredibly sad
He wished he didn't party
He wished he did't have fun
He wished he wasn't sitting there
in the arctic sun
The penguins laughed behind him
as he left the spot
going on to find a place
where the others were not
sometime later, he found an igloo
he smiled in delight,
opened the door
and crawled out of sight
Inside he lit a fire
you know, just to stay warm
but little did he know
the fire would melt the igloo
his happy little home
Returning to the site, he went
feeling patched and frayed
finding what he didn't expect,
more or less a parade!
The rest of the day,
he had loads of fun,
playing and running
in the arctic sun
