This'll be my twistedness.. you could make a type of movie where your friends are the survivors of some type of horrible disaster.. like a before and after type thing. Like the movie IT, if you seen it.. if you haven't seen it.. rent it.. it might give you some ideas.. as for the book.. i haven't read it.. so i couldn't help ya out with that. You could have people in the neighborhood disappear and it will be part of an alien abduction. FBI agents will show up. The people who were awake during the eclipse will have dreamt about the missing people being abducted before it even happened.  |

i would suggest make it into a short.. you will more likely be able to film it, be able to afford it, if it's a short... you can also get alotta air time with shorts(if you have some pull here and there) it's also a good trick to get into places by sending around a short(people tend to watch the first 5 min and if that doesn't capture thier attention they won't watch more)  |

i know a little bit about all this because i studied this in school(film student, took script writing, filmed a few shorts, worked with video and film, know the production and how they go over, know how to sell a script and such) if you ever wanna ask something just drop me a message |

The way I want it is that these people are the only people to have been awake during the eclipse and now they are the only ones on the street. Nothing else seems to be alive. (In The Regulators, an entire street goes through a horrific nightmare when its occupants realize that they have entered a horrfic alternate reality that exists in the dreams of a child possessed by an evil force).  |
