yes when i was 12 i rode on one from florida to arkansas by myself..i was scared too - but all went well, and the flight attendants usually KNOW you're there alone and treat you well 8-)  |

Sometimes they will let you have some of the icecream that they serve the first class guest. They are really nice and will help with whatever you need. |

I've traveled by myself alot as a kid (being a military brat and visiting grand parents). usually flight attendants are aware of underage kids on the flight   |

Hi Pixieangel, well, I'm not a minor...I am 20 years old and in the same situation as you are. My older sister wants only me to fly from here in Texas to go stay a few weeks with her in Ohio. However, I have NEVER flown. I am scared to go by myself, very scared! Although, I have heard that you have a greater chance of getting into a car accident than you do of getting into a plane crash. and being an adult does have it's advantages there, cause i had of anxiety pills before i got on the plane..else i never would have made it. i was sweating, starting to darn hyperventalite....total panic attack before my last trip to philadelphia...and i know that doesn't help you feel better *-) but, i guess it's commone for folks to be a little scared of flying. |

i was 23 the first time i flew alone...and the flight attendants were great even with me they may have mistaken me for someone younger because of my height or else they overheard me say i'm scared of flying....but they're usually very good about that sort of thing  |

yea i'm flying to philadelphia..and i think there's a connection..that's worse..oh gosh i don't know what to do about a connection =\..i hope it's nonstop..but i don't know..it's just freaky..if it was last year at this time maybe i wouldn't freak out as much |

ok i just found out that mom bought the tickets but anyway yea i'm going on the 24th..nonstop so i guess that's a relief..it's just i dun want to leave my parents home alone..they'll be lonely without me :P |

my first trip on a plane was a doozy!!i was 17 and by myself!!*just turned 17* and i flew from my home to the main airport(international) then i flew over the "pond" ocean on a 9 hour flight to england so about 14 hours in the air!  |
