Besided Halo, GTA3 is the best game that vere came out, and lol 'experts' are so wrong when they say violence in games starts violence in real life. That is just plain dumb, they didnt grow up with games and they cant find a better ludacris explanations for it. ~SlightOfHand  |

I've spent hours playing it, doing taxi missions and all kinds of stuff it's a great game, but it also violent hense the 18 rating over here in Britain,but it is a game just a game and anyone that could use it as an excuse to go out and behave like that in 'real life' obviuosly has problems.........  |

People need to stop blaming entertainment for the crimes that are committed in real life. I love the game. I played it at my cousin's house last year.  |

I actually think all of the violence in these games and some movies desensitizes children. Since some of you think people should quit blaming these games for kids that go and murder, then tell me what IS contributing to this rise in violence among the younger generation.  |

Um, to be totally honest, after I've been playing GTAIII for awhile, I'll look at cops while I drive by and just think, ya know what? I could pull on the passenger handle, which would get that cop to come out of his car. Then, I just run around the BACK, punch him a couple of times, take his gun and the hit the R3 button and go do some vigilante missions. I get the feeling I wouldn't have those thoughts if I was playing Barbie's Dress-up Adventure. Don't be silly, of course it encourages violence. So do sports. And hunting. And sex. Violence is a part of being human. So I'm ambivalent, you could say. |

That game is extremely fun.If anyone would be encouraged to kill because of this game, them they shouldn't even be playing games.Some people just need to learn the difference between the fake world and the real world- and don't go dragging the fake world into the real world.I think it's pretty stupid that parents will let their kids running around, playing army, and cowboys and indians, but then they turn around and say that GTAIII is too bad for people to play.Ch, I have nothing more to say. -Rope Shrine Maiden-  |

i like the game, it was fun. im also getting it 4 my b-day. i would like 2 point out. i played 007 for n64, i would just go around shooting ppl and blowing thigs up. it helped 2 release pent up anger and frustration and its was a major stress releiver. it doesnt make me want 2 go out and actually kill ppl. i dont know about any1 else. but i am not stupid enough 2 let a video game influence me into actually hurting some1. 2 me thats just a cop out answer . 8^) huggs shay  |

yep i bought that game not too long ago. its sooo fun to play with, and if you shoot the right pedestrian, the will have LOADS of cash, i'm talking thousands...lol, i know it really is a bad, graphic game, and it does deplict life in the real world, but its just a game, no harm done. grand theft auto rules!!  |
