~~~The Black Pacific~~~~MaNiAC

There was once long ago a story about a beast in a lake called Southside Paradise.Now nobody knows if any of these stories are true and we all know what happens is usually they find evidence that its not real and people still wont give up so the legend continues on and on and forever.Real legends never die.Especially not this one.....Throughout the years people have sighted and taken picutures and ships have vanished.Still no proof has been found of anything but a group of people know the truth but wont talk about anything.They even have footage of this so called monster and some people never came back with them from their voyage.A girl named Sandra Cowler and her brother Brad Cowler decided they wanted to take a daredevil type vacation.Of course everyone has heard the stories about the sea monster they call "Slick".Some sort of huge worm that lerks beneathe the sea.Anyways,Brad and Sandra were professional scuba divers and they wanted to put their skills to the test.So they took a group of 5 friends with them.Ill mention their names later.Only two of their friends were qualified swimmers but they took the rest just for fun I guess and they agreed to it.They explained to their friends how they wanted to search for and video tape this so called "Slick" sea monster.Their friends laughed at first but then found it interesting after remembering the stories about Slick and the ships and boats and people that have vanished in history.So even though they may not of believed in Slick they still wanted to go for the curiousity and adventure.Slick had been mostly spotted in any various areas but could be anywhere and if he was even real it would be nearly impossible to find him.They had the Pacific ocean in mind.The north pacific ocean that surrounds Hawaii.They figured if they were gonna find some sea monster then they were gonna find it there.Sandra and Brad got everything together that they would need for a trip like this.Including two video cameras.Knowing that if they seen something they might as well get proof of it.So they got everything together,all their friends and equiptment and got the plane tickets to hawii and left.They stayed at a small island named Nihoa where supposedly the monster had killed many people before and had been sighted many times.They put up tents for the night and had a good nights sleep and the next day Brad and Sandra went to rent boats.Sandra wanted a smaller more compact boat but Brad wanted a more bulky boat so most of the girls were with Sandra while the guys wanted to be with brad.There were 7 people all together but 4 had to ride on brads boat and only 3 could ride with Sandra because of the more compact size.So at about 3:00 pm that afternoon they went off not too far out about 2 miles or so mainly because of the lack of gas for the boats.They did get out far enough however to now be able to see any dry land whatsoever which can be pretty scary when you're in the middle of nowhere.Sandra turned on her fish finders and those whatchamagadgets and whatever to find giant fish or whales.Knowing that theres no whales in the area a big signal would be rare.So Brad turned on his fish finders to.Theres two on each boat.An hour passed,and nothing.It was fairly hot that day and they knew they didnt wanna stay out long but Sandra was willing to get something or some kind of signal but Brad complained a little bit but finally gave in to his sisters ways.Brads friend Michael was getting a bit bored so he dicided he wanted to go fishing.He brought his pole and a bucket just for this.So Michael got his pole ready knowing that they weren't gonna get any signals of anything and he cast out from Brads boat.The Boats were about 25 feet apart only so he had to cast in a safe direction.Sandra was still waiting for some kind of signal so she decided to go out a little farther and unwillingly Brad followed knowing it was getting kind of late.Michael just kept his pole in the water hoping to catch a big one and maybe get something interesting out of this trip.At about 5:30 pm there were still no signals of anything huge or remotely big in the water.Michael had caught a couple keepers and he was wanting to get back but Sandra was still willing.She was hoping that maybe the creature would come out at night.Frustated Brad told her how rediculous she was for having so much faith in this sea creature especially if she was going to get them lost at sea.They were already about 7 miles out and it was starting to get dark.The other people on Brads boat were Mitch and Shane and the two girl with Sandra were Emily and Tasha.The other passengers sorta chilled while Sandra desperately tried to find proof of "Slick".Michael kept on fishing knowing that its a lost cause to try to fight with Sandra.While Sandra and Brad were still looking for signals Michael started to get a bite on his pole.It was tugging at it pretty hard and actually started to pull his pole in the water.Surprised Michael got up and stood on his feet and started to pull at it.Shane was asleep but Brad and Mitch were watching and laughing thinking he was gonna lose his pole.Starting to get scared Michale yelled at them to stop laughing and said "Ive never had anything pull this hard!".Brad ran over to Michael and grabbed his pole and started to help him pull it in.Sandra got on the mic and asked what was going on.Shane woke up from all the yelling and got on the mic and told Sandra that they caught a monster!.Frantically Sandra drove her boat over to Brads boat to see Brad and Michael still struggling to get whatever it was out of the water.Emily and Tasha just sat back and laughed their butts off at Brad and Michael knowing that it couldnt be a sea monster but Sandra told them to shut up and drove closer to where they were struggling to get the pole from.....All of a sudden it stopped.....Brad let go of the pole and handed it to Michael and laughed.Just as Michael was ready to real it back in it started to pull again and pulled him under!Everyone screamed as Brad just stood there paniced waiting for Michael to come back up.It was about 7:00 pm now and it was getting hard to see the water.Brad waited 10 seconds and Michael never showed so Sandra yelled at him to jump in and get him or she was going to!So Brad took his shirt off and dove in.As the water riffles stopped the water was silent and everyone was getting worried.All of a sudden Michael jumped out of the water and Mitch and Shane were there to pull him up.They asked "Wheres Brad?!"He didnt reply."WHERES BRADLEY?!"They asked again.He still didnt reply back to them.Michael began coughing up blood so they turned him over on his side.Sandra had had about enough of this and she was getting freaked out and angry so she got her video camera and put on her scuba suit.This took about 3 minutes to do and still Brad hadnt came back up for air yet.They all knew something was wrong.She told nobody else to go back in fearing the worst.She told Emily to put on the other suit and get the other camera.Unwillingly Emily did as she was told and she put on the suit and grabbed the camera.Sandra had already gone in before Emily did.Sandra was under about a minute already but Emily decided to go ahead and jump in.Mitch,Tasha and Shane just waited patiently and very scared hoping for the best.Minutes went by and still nothing.Mitch was starting to wonder if it was just a sick joke they were playing knowing that they could be giving Brad air to breathe.Michael regained conciousness and heard Mitch say that and assured him that this was no sick joke.Mitch said "Then what did you see down there?What was on the pole?Why were you down there so long?"Michael replied "Go down there and find out!"Just then,up came Emily out of the water without her camera in a panic to get out.Mitch and Shane hurried and pulled her in the boat and stripped her of all her gear and asked her what she saw."Shes in shock!" said Mitch.Shane replied "What do we do?!Im scared!""Wheres Sandra?!Where is she Emily?Wake up and tell me now!All of a sudden the water gushed out like a guyser and this huge black lizard faced creature appeared out of the water!Shane turned around only to have his head bitten half off leaving his dead corpse on the boat.Mitch and Tasha screamed!"OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT!?Mitch immediately tried to get on the radio and call for help but it was all static.They had traveled out too far."Try to call for help!"He told Tasha.While Tasha was calling for help Mitch went to get the flare gun in shock he left Emily laying there helpless.They couldnt believe their eyes they had just witnessed the true sea monster it had just kill their friend before their very eyes!Michael was just stunned sitting there close to Emily screaming for help!As Mitch was loading the flare gun the monster came up by Tashas boat and broke it into!She screamd and Mitch yelled at her to stay calm.When it came up again they could see it clearly.It was black and about 30 feet long as far as they could tell and had spikes all down its back and long tentacles to swim with and a huge mouth with big teeth.Mitch told her to stay still and he waited for the monster to come up a third time and he shot it with the flare gun in the face!The monster gave out a hellish scream and went back under the dark waters.Tashas boat was sinking and she needed to get to the other boat and fast.Forgetting about Sandra and brad and everyone else for the moment Mitch threw her a life saver and told her to swim over to his boat."Hes gonna get me!"she screamed."Just do it your boat is sinking fast you're gonna be in the water anyways!"Paniced and scared she jumped in the water where Mitch threw the life saver and she swam rapidly towards Mithch's boat.Suddenly Sandra popped out of the water on the other side of the boat and that took Mitches attention off of Tasha."Dont forget tasha!"screamed Michael.Emily was still laying unconcious in shock.So Michael got up and tried to help Tasha while Mitch helped Sandra out of the water.Just as Michael was grabbing for Tashas hand the monster poked its his out of the water slowly 3 feet away from Tashes face.Michael suddenly stopped and paniced while staring at the black beastly head.Tasha was sitting in the water next to the creature.All she could do was cry and stare and nearly die of a heart attack.The creature just stared for a moment and went back under.While it was going under it took Tasha down with it.Michael drastically grabbed for her but he was too late so he turned his attention to Sandra knowing there is nothing he can do for Tasha.Mitch already had everything stripped off of Sandra and he was asking her questions while she was in shock and Michael said "Back off let her get a hold of herself first!"Mitch loaded the flare gun again and went off to the side of the boat while Michael was comforting Sandra.Emily still hadnt regained conciousness yet so Mitch dragged her safely farther up in the boat and went back over to the edge waiting for the monster."WHAT IS THIS THING?!"he asked.Sandra had her camera beside her."I got it on film"She said softly."Wheres Brad?!"screamed Michael.A tear ran down her face as she replied "Hes gone Michael,hes dead.She turned her head over to Shanes dead corpse and started to panic!"OH GOD!"she yelled.Mitch kicked Shanes dead body off into the sea."Wheres Tasha?"Mitch asked Michael."He got her"replied Michael."Hows Emily?!"asked Mitch."Shes still out"he nervously said.In a calm rough voice Michael said "I dont know what this is but its killing my friends and Im ready to leave"They were all so paniced and scared they could hardly move.Mitch just sat there waiting for something shaking very nervously for about 30 seconds."What are we waiting for lets get outta here man!"Michael ran over to the motor and pulled it but it wouldnt start the first time but the second time it started up good."I tried to call for help" frantically replied Mitch "All I got was static".It was about 9:00 pm now and Sandra got up and said "I guess the monsters not gonna attack up anymore,I think its safe to move.The longer we stay the sooner we die."Everyone agreed so they took off and as soon as they did the camera that Sandra had layed on the side of the boat had went under the water."I gotta get it!"She shouted."NO we're leaving NOW!Declared Mitch as he grabbed her from jumping into the dark water to find it.The only lights they had were the small lights from their boat.The other boat had already sank and Tasha was nowhere to be found.Mitch still had his flare gun ready to shoot "Slick" if he submerged again.Before Michael could take off Sandra jumped in the water against their will to get her camera.Mitch screamed!"Get out of the water you idiot!""Forget this man if she wants her camera let her find a tv down there to!"Michael began to take off but Mitch said no and Mitch jumped in after her.Michael just stayed with the lifeless Emily making sure nothing happened to her.Michael went ahead and shut off the motor knowing it could kill them if they ran into it.As soon as he did he heard bubbles coming from the other side of the boat.As he peaked over the side he grabbed a flashlight to see if it was Mitch of Sandra.Mitches head suddenly floated to the top and Michael paniced and ran over to the motor and started it.One pull,it wouldnt start.Two pulls,it still wouldnt start.He screamed and pulled it again and it finally started and when he was about to take off he heard a scream!He looked and it was Sandra.So deserately he turned the motor back off and pulled her back in in case she hit the blades."You're crazy woman you know that?!You got Mitch killed!""I had to get the proof!"She screamed."Is it worth your friends?"she didnt reply."Which way is it to land?""Uhhhh ummmmmm""WHICH WAY IS IT TO LAND!?"As she looked at her compass the creature came out of the water and grabbed the side of the boat!They both screamed!Sandra was pulled back and was almost to fall into the water with her camera.Just when Michael grabbed for her hand she handed him the camera instead and the monster took her under!Michael just screamed and turned the motor back on.He looked at the compass knowing they had traveled west and turned towards east and gave it full power all the way home!about 10:36 pm they made it to shore.Michael carried Emily onto the shore.Someone ran over to them and asked them what happened.Michael told him to go get the camera from the boat.He told him that a sea monster had killed off all his friends.Confused the man ran to the bitten off boat and got the camera."I got it"he said."I see that huge giant bite on the side of the boat oh my God!"the man replied.He hollered for more people to come help Michael and Emily."Need anymore proof?"Asked Michael"No"The man replied in shock.How many were you."7"said Michael."They're all dead"he said as a tear fell from his eye.They waited till morning and the people had rescue teams go out to where Michael said they were but found absolutely nothing.As Emily she started screaming and Michael woke up suddenly after that to hold her down!"Calm down"he said"Calm down!"As she started to calm down she asked"Where are they?!""They're dead"he replied."Even Sandra and Brad?OH MY GOD!""Yes they're all dead""What did I miss"she asked"Not enough"he laughed nervously""Oh no I dropped my camera!""Dont worry I got Sandras,lets find somewhere to put it in to see what she got on film"As they walked outside they were comfronted by police and escorted to the nearby police station for questioning."I have this footage of the monster"said Michael."Its what sandra handed me before the monster took her under""Lets see it replied the cop"As soon as he put the tape in it started to fuzz out a little bit so he stopped it and started to rewind it.When it got to the beggining he pressed play and he seen Brad under the water with his pants caught and he seen himself going back up to the water and Sandra trying to get Brad untangled.Right when something grabbed Sandra she dropped the camera and it went to fuzz again."OMG WHERES THE MONSTER?!Michael replied."I have it on my camera!I have the monster on my camera but I dropped it!"Well Im not going back there to get it!""Me either!"Replied Emily."This proves absolutely nothing!How do we know you didnt kill them yourselves?"asked the cop."We didnt sink a boat and brutaly murder our friends!"screamed Michael.Emily began to cry."Hopefully the rescue team will find my camera.......just then on the scanner they heard a scream...."Mayday Mayday!""Come again!?"said the officer."OH MY GOD ITS REAL!"screamed the man."Wheres that coming from?!"the cop asked panicly.The other cop dialed in to their location.......its the southside rescue team....
