As the world turns, so do our lives. We become mired in things beyond our control and sometimes have little or no time for friends that were in the time before. We always remember those friends with fond smiles and joke about getting in touch one day.
There are a few people here I became so close to that I would never want to lose touch with them.
Where is this going? Good point, I have to say that I don't really know where this is going, only one thing I know right now is that time does not wait for me, so I must say what's on my mind today or lose the chance tomorrow.
I love my friends and cherish the moments I've spent with them. I don't know what's going on in their lives right now, I have no idea what some of them look like, nor do I know exactly where they live. But I know that I've shared my deepest secrets with them, and I've shared my heart with them.
It doesn't matter how much time we've been friends or how much time we've been apart. Friends are for forever, whether we know it or not. They are there when everyone else turns their backs. They are there when times are good.
Friends are meant to be cherished, so I'd like to thank all my friends here for letting me have a friend in you. What's the meaning of friend, the true meaning?
To me, there could only be one definition for a true friend:
Someone who never turns away.
Why someone who never turns away? Because no matter what, good or bad, that friend will always stand for you. If you have such a friend, don't waste another moment. Tell them you appreciate them and let them know that you love them.

These people are those that I cherish, because they are the closest friends I have here. I have others, loads of them, but I haven't shared nearly as much with those as I have with these ten people. To my friends, to all of my friends, whether your name is mentioned here or not, I raise my glass of cherry koolaid in a toast.
May we stay friends forever and never forget just how precious a friend really is. To everyone at USM...
