Okay ladies, answer me this...

Are you tired of shaving your legs?

Are you tired of having to have your hair just so?

Are you tired of the endless makeup sessions?

Are you tired of Mirrors?

Are you tired of high heels that hurt your feet?

Are you tired of painting your nails and toenails to match?

Are you tired of never being able to find a pair of jeans to fit right?

If you are, I have the perfect solution...

Let's make men do all of a woman's duties for a month and then see how much HE likes it and how much he'll say, aww honey, you look just fine, and NO, of course I don't feel stubble on your legs!!!

LOL Just thought this was funny, because I just shaved my legs yesterday and had to do it again today because it grew back so fast. *sigh* Do you have any gripes about being a woman? LOL

Date: 7/9/2002 2:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 46530    If you are tired of all the above, then stop doing them. Most guys dont actually care on a day to day basis what you look like so long as you look ok when it matters.
Date: 7/9/2002 2:57:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    Farley's, this is meant as a joke post, and you are absolutely wrong about that. Most guys would think a woman is lazy or nasty if she didn't do all of this on a day to day or at least every other day basis. As would most women. I cannot stand to be unhygenic. It is just not done. LOL
Date: 7/9/2002 2:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 14780    all of the above.....plus remember, the housework, the children...ohhhh, its never ending!!!
Date: 7/9/2002 2:59:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    Katsho.. lol, balance all that, plus the kids, the wash, the cleaning up the house, the job, the cooking, the dishes, the paying bills, and the maintenance of the car when he is too busy with his job... lololol
Date: 7/9/2002 2:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    Legs, I rarely shave them. Hair, I tie it back or just leave it to dry straight. Make-up, what's that? Mirrors, I avoid them! High heels, I wear clogs or flat shoes. Nailvarnish, my toes are often rainbow coloured but I rarely paint my fingernails. Jeans...well, do they EVER fit? So there you go, I guess I am not a typical woman...
Date: 7/9/2002 3:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    And pray tell what do any of the above have to do with hygiene Monkey sis??? LOL!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:00:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    LSR.. LOL, I guess not.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:01:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    The shaving the legs thing.. lol, the rest is just part of wanting to look good for your man. lol
Date: 7/9/2002 3:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    << sniffs armpit....getting worried!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 56381    LMAO I answer yes to all of the above I wish we really could make them do that! -Sunshine
Date: 7/9/2002 3:02:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    It's just all a part of wanting to look good, feel good, and self confident. But there are soooo many things a woman must do to do this. It's expected of most women...
Date: 7/9/2002 3:02:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    lol Sunshine, it'd be a hoot... lol
Date: 7/9/2002 3:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    How is having hairy legs unhygienic?? Hmmmmm? I am not aware that my legs perspire more than any other part of me...LOL!, I am sure that some people find it aesthetically displeasing but are we to call all men unhygienic (ROFL!!) because they have hairy legs?
Date: 7/9/2002 3:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    Now nose hairs....THAT is an entirely different matter...how on EARTH can men demand that we ladies shave our legs when they have a small forest sprouting out of each nostril?
Date: 7/9/2002 3:05:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    Well LSR, it is just how you look at it, here in the US, it is considered unhygenic, at least where I was raised. It's the way I was raised, I have no wish to say that about anyone, it is simply my opinion, sorry if it offended.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 14780    LOL @ LSR..your a riot!!!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    It didn't offend in the least Monkey sis, I just cannot comprehend how it could possibly be unhygienic, I can think of areas of the body where hair could be classes as far more unhygienic than on the legs...and yet do we all shave that hair off????....LOL!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    Personally, I don't care for makeup. Life is to short to wear shoes that arn't comfortable. Oh well. wb
Date: 7/9/2002 3:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    Take beards for example (USUALLY only found on men)...they catch crumbs, they soak up soup and coffee...they dangle into heaven knows what in the course of their daily existence.....YUKKY!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 46530    you say most men demand this of their women. have you ever asked a man if they care about these things on a day-to-day basis? I think not. And as far as hygeine is conerned high heels dont contribute to that and neither does make-up LOL
Date: 7/9/2002 3:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 40509    Yeah, well, I havent shaved my legs since last Friday, and I don't havea ny fingernails, don't wear make-up every day, my hair is never perfect, and my clothes are comfortable (shorts and t-shirts) But, the guy I like likes me the same, maybe it has something to do with who I am? I guess that makes me lazy and nasty.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 40509    Oh yeah, and I never wear high-heels.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 1432    Well I do only about half as the list above.. high heels I'd sprain my ankles.. I gave up trying to have my hair just right.. so its just pulled back most of the time.. as for make up.. every now and then.. shaving my legs.. well only during the summer LOL.. I dont pain my nails or toenails.. umm.. but the jeans.. yeah I can hardly find a pair that fits just right lol..
Date: 7/9/2002 3:10:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    lol LSR, let's just put it like this. If I saw a woman walking down the road with shorts and hairy legs, I really don't think I'd consider her hygenic. It's just my opinion, that body hair should be shaved off in all places that can be in order to maintain hygeine. My opinion. And I know that a lot of men would have a BIG problem with women not shaving, lol, one guy told me it was nasty when a woman didn't shave... but he was a prude anyway, lol
Date: 7/9/2002 3:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 40509    Oh yeah, and I never wear high-heels.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    Ah, now on that one you are wrong Farleys my dear, high heels CAN make a contribution to hygiene, they stop ladies heels getting muddy in wet weather! LOL!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    Monkey sis, you cannot be serious....you have no eyebrows???? ROFL!!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 46530    And also I would say that men would prefer their women relaxed rather than stressed out over split ends and broken nails )
Date: 7/9/2002 3:12:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30743    Actually Farley's I have. I was curious about it and so asked a couple of my men friends, most of them do consider it nasty. They like women's legs to be smooth, not hairy or stubbly. More pleasant to look and feel against them.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 40509    OH, and just because I havent shaved since Friday doesnt mean I have bad hygeine because you can barely tell!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 40509    i agree farley
Date: 7/9/2002 3:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 47699    I like that solution. I'd be willing to shave them and then they could just go around naked. We wouldn't have to worry about buying blue jeans or putting on make-up. ROTFLMAO!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 38278    You're right, MonkeyLuvr. Most men including myself would want women to be hygienic. I don't want to see a woman with hairy legs. Ill! I admire women who go through all that trouble whether to make themselves feel good or to impress a guy.
Date: 7/9/2002 3:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 52148    my answer to all of them: yes
Date: 7/9/2002 3:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    Flame On, can you tell me how hairy legs equate with being unhygienic...please?
Date: 7/9/2002 3:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 53806    this is the hot topic of the day......I like being a woman but hate having to do things to be pretty!
Date: 7/9/2002 3:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 53013    I guess I am considered a "tom-boy". I never wear make-up or high heels. Being dressed up would be a nice pair of jeans and a semi-fancy shirt. But my hubby loves me just the way I am and that's what counts. LOL!! Gentel Breeze
Date: 7/9/2002 3:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 11097    LoL... funny yet true Luvs-
Date: 7/9/2002 3:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 33925    LOLOL..being a woman is tough work, but hey..someone has to do it..and we really cannot rely on a man to do the job right hon..LOL..
Date: 7/9/2002 3:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 55353    I totally agree being a woman is a tough job and ever since like the early 20s or somethin its always been hard.. we have always had to do dishes and do daily chores.. there should be a holiday for woman where they dont have to do anything.. we only wear make up and shave our legs and so on because of men .they count on us to be beautiful and look perfect its so not rite!

Date: 7/9/2002 4:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 38406    The answer to all those is YES!
Date: 7/9/2002 4:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 35720    Tired of shaving? Nope.. I wax! :P Tired of my hair? GOD YES! It's down to my lower back and there's NOTHING to do with it.. it just.. hangs there. LOL Tired of endless make-up sessions? Eh, not really. I go for the "natural" look, but when I have to go "dramatic" I get all stressed out. LOL Tired of mirrors? Nah.. I love em!! hehe Tired of high heels? Good LORD, yes. I'm only 5'4" and I HATE it. LOL I wear high heels/platforms everywhere! Tired of painting nails and toenails to match? Actually, I get my nails done French manicure so I can do anything I want with my piggies!! :P Tired of non-fitting jeans? Sigh.. yes.. usually they're a little loose in the legs, nice in the butt, and big around the waist! And if I go a size lower, they don't fit! LMAO!! My gripe is Aunt Flow! WHY CAN'T SHE LEAVE ME ALONE!! hehe
