yep I'm currently doing it with my best friend who's currently seeing her bf of a few months, plus someone else sorta AND a third person who get this is married and has a kid *rolls eyes* I said something in the begining now I'm of the opinion....'your digging your grave deeper....but I'm staying out of it'  |

Not very often, LOL! Just ask some of my friends, I can be too blunt sometimes! But I always try to tone it down a bit, so as to not be downright mean! A lot of it depends on whether I know the person can actually handle honesty or not.. If I know they're not going to be very accepting, I'll just try to keep my big mouth shut. Not very easy sometimes though, LOL!  |

One should always be on guard if their words will hurt and destroy someone's self esteem, but should LEARN ways to express themselves in a thoughtful, helpful and diplomatic way. On my post "The Philosophy of Atheism", someone made a very ignorant statement: "If one wants to believe that Atheist crapola, more power to them". I am not about to HOLD BACK with regard to exactly what I think about such ignorance. If you want to go read what MY reply was, you will see why it isw best not to let comments like that slide and or go unnoticed. IF someone makes racial jokes and slurs in our presence, we MUST be assertive and step up to the plate against such behaviors.  |

Well, I learned a while back, that I should speak my mind, utherwise, it might blow back on you later on what you didnt day before. That is why I have a little problem with this site, I cant speak my mind. My Language isnt "Clean" enough for this site I guess. ^_^ Gracefully Clumsy ^_^  |

yea i do that alot...like even sometimes for example if i'm going to the movies and someone asks me what i want to see i usually say that i don't care even if i really do, i'm trying to get better at speaking my mind  |

Personally, I like having the truth at all times. It doesnt hurt my feelings at all. Like with my new bleached hair, my family is wonderful enough to say, "Yes, Colleen. You do look like a stripper." hehe If they would lie and say it looks nice, Id walk around looking like an idiot. As for other people, if they ask for it, and they are my friends,I will tell them how it is, as for aquaintences, I dont feel its my place. It can be tempting, but you just need to know when to speak up, and when to keep your mouth closed. uh oh, am I even making sense? im pretty tired.  |
