It made me hungry too. Does this mean they won't be taking money from my credit card for membership anymore? I noticed in the last week, most songs had X's beside them....well, I found another site last night just a good. It's called MP3raid (Free). Found everything I looked for, and they downloaded with ease. Oh, you got sauce on your chin... |

I feel that all of these p2p riggins are the best thing to happen in a long time. But not for the obvious reason that you're all probably thinking(free tunes)...LOL. My hope is that by losing profit due to these p2p sites will force the music industry to put out quality albums like they used to. Like El Toro said, so many artists put out albums with one or two hits on it and the rest of the album is "filler". I don't like to be fooled or taken advantage of. If I like an artist, then it only makes sense to me to support them, so that they can continue to provide me with what I like. But to dupe me into dropping $20 for one song is insulting, to say the least. What I do is check out the tunes on an album of interest to me. If I can find enough decent tunes on it then I'll go buy it. If I don't, well, I listen to the song that I d/led that I DO like until I lose interest, then I grin at the extra $20 in my wallet. Why is it considered fair that they take my money, give me one good tune and a bunch of crap, and laugh all the way to the bank? Meanwhile, it's considered criminal for me pull a fast one on them and pay them what the album is actually worth...which a lot of the time these days is nothing. I say tough cookies, put out quality, and then we'll talk about doing away with free MP3s. Take care and hey, now I'm hungry too...LOL...Gallytuck. |

Thanks for that post. I too was a big free loader from audiogalaxy. Then one day it wouldn't come up on screen... They didn't even have a page saying why. Now I know. Thanks. I now use Blubster. They don't have the variety audiogalaxy had but its getting better. The thins is that blubster doesn't have a centralised base like audog and napster had. You just download the program and you can instantly access the music folders of all the other members all over the world. So, its just like your friend down the road giving you a copy of his music. We all do that don't we? Well this is the same. The program is just a downloader. Stay cool :¬ |
