Fieldy, Korn's Bassist, a Rapper?!

This is a question for all you metal fans out there who know about Fieldy, Korn's bassist, having his own rap album. My question is, do you think that its okay for heavy metal musicians to make the transition into the world of rap, or should you do either one or the other? Of course, I want you to keep this in mind-Music is the expression of the soul and emotion, so as long as he is expressing himself, does it matter in how many ways or styles he does it? Sinister Instinct

Date: 6/22/2002 2:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 51052    I think that he should be able to do whatever he wants. I mean if someone was a country singer and then all of a sudden went rap then I think that there would be something wrong. Good question. Rock on. Peace out. Miss Molly
Date: 6/22/2002 2:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 38278    It don't matter to me. He can do both. Some people should only stick to one kind of music, like Everlast for example. LOL.
Date: 6/22/2002 2:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 10722    I listened to his so called rap CD and it sounds like a big joke, he better stick to the bass cause his rapping sucks.. LOL
Date: 6/22/2002 2:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 55040    Hey as long as he really is expressing himself, not talking about how cool he is or how much money he has (or whatever you know rapping about stupid stuff) then more power to him.--The End
