A Growing Problem

Homophobia. Homophobia is a growing problem in the United States. For those of you who dont know, homophobia is a fear or dislikeof Gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transvestites, ect. Many people discriminate against gays. These people often dont realize that discriminating against gays and lesbians is just like discriminating against african americans,Jews, Muslums, ect. Did you know, that some people think that if you are gay, then the state should have to send out a flier to people, saying that a gay person has moved into the neighborhood? Thats what happens if a sex offender moves into a neighborhood! I can't stand it when I hear teenagers use the word gay as an insult! We all need to pitch in to help stop this circle of hate in violence against American Citizens! America is supposed to be a melting pot of different religions, cultures, and orientations! I have family members and friends who are gay and it hurts me whenever they arediscriminated against. I write this now in hopes of creating a better country for future generations. So please, if you love your fellow Americans, you will watch the things you say and do. Because, you never know the effects it can have. Chickypie.
