The Frankenstein Soap Opera Continues **Frankenstein

As I've said repeatedly, my life is never dull. We were sitting here watching a movie tonight when we heard strange sounds outside. When I heard the sound of a police radio, I stepped out onto the porch to see what was going on. There were three police cruisers and three ambulances. It didn't take long for them to confirm my suspicions. They went into the same apartment they went into last night. I waited and then watched as they carried my friend out again. He appeared to be unconscious. I suspect that he is trying to drink himself to death for some reason. I can't imagine what could have him so depressed suddenly. As I said before in a previous post, he's one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet and he's normally very level headed. Another neighbor told me that he had hit his car twice and that he's been drinking a bottle of bourbon every two hours. You don't get much more extreme than that. Sure he's a big guy but, Lord, that's a lot of booze! I just hope he's okay. The guy's in his fifties and you'd think he'd know better than that unless he does, in fact, have a death wish. I'm going to run down to the store in a few minutes. With my luck, I'll walk into something weird.
