i heard the same thing about cell phones... why is it that everything we enjoy is cancer causing? LOL I have a solution though... lets all become Amish! Then we wont have to worry with it all... we can live to be 99, God willing!  |

You know, it seems like here lately, EVERYTHING causes cancer....you can't even go out in the sun anymore cuz guess what....it causes cancer. I say just live your life and get regular checkups from your doctor!!!!  |

I love my microwave ~ it makes my food warm and for someone who can not cook to save themselves this little machine is VERY important, LOL!! But yeah, i heard similar things to this. I was actually told not to stand directly in front of the mircowave and watch your food cook, so i dont. besides it seems to take longer when you watch it!  ....  |

If you are worried about the EMR's emitted from microwave ovens, beware of all daily appliances you use. But the appliances that seem to emit the most EMR's are: hair dryers, COMPUTER MONITORS  (the sides and the back of a monitor is the most dangerous), electric shavers, vacuum cleaners,dishwashers, and can openers. The field of EMR's diminishes the further away you stand from it...of course some appliances can't be used unless you are manually controlling the device itself. People shouldn't be too worried about because these appliances are only used minutes at a time...where as EMR from powerlines are always present, but don't emit as much EMR's as a can opener may. I don't know the amount of EMR that is emitted from a cell phone, but because of their highly frequent use, it's not suprising that people develop health problems due to them. |
