Then which way is it? If you're Christian you do unto others. So this presents a dilemma. The Bible says "do unto others". It also says "no go" to homosexual relationships. Being gay is not a choice. God made them that way. Who are any of us to shun one of His creations? Take care and give them a break will yas...Gallytuck. |

I am christian, and i disaprove of gay relationships, but its really not my place to judge. Its their choice, not mine. I believe people were made to reproduce, and thus if you are homosexual, you cannot do this. But i will not insult a homosexual person on their choices, or make fun of them. i dont think thats right. I have my beliefs, but that doesnt make them right either.--The End |

I am a Christian. I disapprove of homosexuality because it is told not to do in the Bible. Christians, however, should not be making cruel jokes about them. They are people too! Even if you don't agree with how they are running their life you shouldn't make jokes about them or hate them because of their decision (I'm not saying you are author!). It's their life and you can't run it. Some people think that gay people go to hell, but we aren't really here to judge. It's God who makes all of the judgements. Hope I have helped! God Bless! I am a Christian and I think it's okay to disapprove of it but that it's NOT okay to be hateful, mean, or brutal toward gay people. They are humans who love and have feelings and if a Christian is going to hate like that then the Christian, imo, looks bad. Who are we to judge? God is love. Right? I'm proud to be a Christian and also proud that I'm not a hater. |

I am Christian, and I don't agree that the gay/lesbian lifestyle is something I would ever do, but I don't "hate" them, and don't discriminate or talk down to them. Everyone has their own life to live, and I don't pass judgement on someone else's emotions and feelings toward someone else. |

I am a Christian. I don't believe in same sex relationships, but this is how I think about it. I think that if you aren't gay, you shouldn't worry about it. You aren't the one that is gonna have to answer for it when it comes to judgement, they will. So don't worry about it. I mean, it isn't like you can change it or anything. |

I'm Christian and I do not dislike homosexual people. I have had gay friends and they respect my heterosexualism and I respect their homosexualism. Just because we have different sexual preferences, doesn't mean we can't be friends. That concept is stone-age if you ask me. Anyone that calls themself a Christian and makes fun of, or hates gay people... is a hypocrite. Good post. |

ok for me its like this - I am a Christian and very Proud of it and in my religion its wrong to be gay and I have gay aquatinences and I don't make fun of them for their lifestyle but I don't support it so I don't think people should support it but I don't tink people should critizise people for it all you should do for people like that is help them find religion and hope they realize their assiociation with God and their lifestyle and reconsider. |

It's like this- I think we should support them because though the Bible say sbeing gay is wrong they are a creation of God and we should support all creations of God and we should quit critisizing them it makes them sad or upset and God doesn't want any of his Children to be sad so I say support them if it makes them happy then why mess with it? |

Musical Butterfly::::: I agree that God made things for a reason and he also makes things happen for a reason, but homosexuals were not born homosexuals. They chose to be that way. It wasn't God's decision to make them homosexual, it was theirs. They will have to suffer for it in the long run though, I am afraid to say. Honestly, we shouldn't judge if they will go to Hell or not. That's the Lord's decision. God Bless! Always, |

I am a christian! I am not saying that being gay is a desease. But who really knows what might be going on in ones life to make them the way they are. What is going on in there minds? This is something you do not no about folks So why belittle one thing you see about someone. Do you no where they have been? what they have been through or where they were before this second that you seen them with one of the same sex. They may have been going to kill themselves and that person saved there life. what I am saying is you do not no anything about them other what makes you sick. it is not fair for any of us to jugde or redicule any other person for the simple fact that We are not god and that is his job. We are put here to love one another. |

That is one story that is not evidence. And your Uncle didn't even say that he picked it. It could be argued that he tried to go out with girls to be live everyone else. That he was denying his nature. I know that it's easy to say you KNOW something, but it is important to ask yourself the question "how do you know" whether it is this issue or any number of difficult issues in life. |

Im not christian but I accept everyone. I was raised christian and felt it was narrrowminded, unfair, and promoted conditional love, as well as constantly teaching hypocricies. Many of you said that you dont approve because its inthe bible. Ok well let's see what else is in the bible...ohh yes, Lot had an incestious relationship with his daughters when he was drunk and they bore him children, no signs of punishment or repentance so what happened to following Gods rules there? hmmm next, the bible says not to touch 'your wife' while she is on her period, well looks like the Hassidic Jews are really the choosen cause they are the only ones to follow that. If you ask a priest, father, whatever about these things and the many more that you can find in the bible, they will tell you that laws were written and put into effect via the bible with the tim and place in total consideration. 'Some things in the bible do not apply to us.' What it really is, is that people who are afraid or need to justify their dislike of a homosexual relationship are trying to ease their consicious by referring to ancient bible text. I dont think there is any way you can convince me that God loves me if his love is conditional and unfair like that. Gay isnt a choice, to thoes who think it is, YOUR NOT GAY SO HOW'd YOU KNOW??!!? Its as stupid as saying the Holocaust didnt happen. FallinAngel, I really applaud you for choosing the "Take Vermont Foward" stand, I live in Canada about 30 min from the Vermont border. I know that a lot of people arnt happy with the approval of gay marriages there but I personaly toasted when it happened and hope that one day it will simply not be an issue to accept someone for the person they are. Thanks for posting this |
