I think a good, maybe safe place to work is at the mall..but i have no idea where to work..there are a lot of places who will accept people like me at a "tender" age of 16 :P but then again there's a lot of places who only accepts 18 year old people and stuff...I dunno...if you have any ideas that would help..or any other places that pops in your mind that's not in the mall would help..maybe I can convince mumsy to get me a job...cuz I don't like getting money from her and without her i'm broke like a joke :p

Date: 5/31/2002 10:11:00 AM  From Authorid: 5252    the icing, gadzooks (i think), umm...grocery stores, movie theatres, fastfood
Date: 5/31/2002 10:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 3263    How about at a shoe store...wait, no, that is just leading you into temptation, huh. Shoelace bandit

Date: 5/31/2002 10:14:00 AM  From Authorid: 39258    there's going to be a dress code anywhere you work.. places suck like that lol
Date: 5/31/2002 10:17:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 8374    yea i know telsha..but there were more problems than that with my friend..i dunno..long story..haha
Date: 5/31/2002 10:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 49765    Have you ever thought of working at a restaurant? (Raintear)
Date: 5/31/2002 10:23:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 8374    49765..yea i wanted to work at Chili's and be a waitress or something..but someone told me that your minimum wage was like two somethin an hour or something like that and that the rest come from tips..or something like that..would someone like to clear this up? *is confoooosed*
Date: 5/31/2002 10:26:00 AM  From Authorid: 17275    I know the toy stores hire 16year olds in my area, food court, some of the clothing shops will and you usually get a discount to boot! Most of the major dept stores hire your age. Try Sears, JCPenney, Macys...all would be great jobs! Good luck Pixie!
Date: 5/31/2002 10:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 39258    if you're a waitress, you get paid the 2.50 or however much an hour. no matter what, you're paycheck will be the amount of hours you worked times 2.50. you get that, but you get to keep all your tips, which could be over a hundred dollars a night.. that's the awesome part.. with taxes, though, i think you end up PAYING the IRS or whatever instead of getting money back.. but you're under 18.. so i'm not sure
Date: 5/31/2002 10:42:00 AM  From Authorid: 6358    I know that working for the city or state pays well. My city hires young students to mow city parks and do things like that, plus it looks good on a resume.
Date: 5/31/2002 11:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 3538    Hospital gift shop, fun, fun, fun!!Plus you get discounts!
Date: 5/31/2002 11:36:00 AM  From Authorid: 53339    just go to the stores in the mall and ask for an application. Apply to all the ones you can. When you get interviews ask what the pay rate is and how soon can you be up for a raise. Then you can make a decision from all the stores you applied to. You better hurry though I work in the mall and most places have already hired the summer employees. BabyCry
Date: 5/31/2002 12:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 49482    try the unemployment office, they might even have an opening. Whispering Wind
Date: 5/31/2002 12:14:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 8374    babycry..whoa they have an interview? are they hard on you? what kind of questions do they ask?..and i'm not even sure how to ask for an appliccation
Date: 5/31/2002 1:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 3263    Pix, just go all over, to stores that you think you'd be interested in working for, and ask for a job application. Take em home, fill em out, return em, and wait by the phone...lol
Date: 6/20/2002 9:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 26598    If the mall has a pet shop maybe they might. I dont know, but this was my first thought.
