Tomorrow, May 25, is National Missing Children's Day. This is a subject that is dear to my heart. I'd like to ask everybody to get involved, even if only for a day. Please search your favorite engine for missing children's sites, view posters, post or email if you'd like. The idea behind the campaign is to get people to actually LOOK at the fliers of the children that are missing. How often do you get those "Have you seen me?" fliers in the mailbox and tossed them w/ junk mail? Please, please take the time to actually look at them, you could save a childs life! The internet is an amazing tool in todays world to spread the word about a child who is missing. Many sites have subscriptions you can join so that you receive email notification of missing kids in the area you specify.

Try www.missingkids.org- This is a wonderful place to start and learn more.

Our children are our future, please help bring them home.

Date: 5/24/2002 10:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 53961    My heart and prayers go out to the Levy family and others who suffer through this sort of tragedy. Let us not forget those who may never come home again. As a parent, I cannot even imagine what they must go through. When I don't hear from my kids on a weekly basis, I start to worry. Thank goodness for e-mail! Great ideas! Thanks for sharing! IWCC91
Date: 5/24/2002 11:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 49689    One of the best things you can do is have your child fingerprinted and take a recent photo of them..Kepp these in a sfe place where they are easily accessible...And update the photo every six to twelve months
Date: 5/24/2002 11:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 28193    I've gone to missing children's sites, and also to missing people sites. It's sad to see how many people are missing.
Date: 5/25/2002 6:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 39887    I agree with you. I cannot imagine what these families are going through, I feel so blessed in my life. I pray God is with each and every child missing out there. Children are so precious and I cannot imagine why anyone would hurt a child in any way, physical or emotional.
