Hi K of C, interesting timing here....I think scripture is a legitimate topic for debate. It only turns into a war when someone attacks the author, instead of the issue at hand. I have no problem when someone holds my beliefs, documents, politics, whatever, up for discussion.....if I wan to discuss it, i will, if i am unhappy about a post, I don't have to answer. My last post was a direct result of several people saying "I wish this was in DEBATE". So, now it is!BTW- good post, my friend...  |

So very very true! during the "heated debates" that arise over religion, always remember this:Some one's belief system is as much a part of them as their heart, body, mind and soul, and whether or not you share their beliefs, they still deserve the same courtesy, respect and consideration as you would want for yourself.Refuse to hate!

I agree with you KALI. But the war you are speaking about is not a real war at all, It is a political maneuver on the part of a certain country designed to gain more world domination. Debates about beliefs are healthy, praticularly at a time when ones government will do all it can to also maintain and manipulate control over the mindset and the opinions of the society it governs. Remember, there are two sides to every war also.  |
