Hang in there. 2 weeks will fly by. My husbands in the Navy and sometimes he's gone on a submarine with no contact for 6 months straight. You're working so that should make the time go by quicker. Days go by slow but the weeks go by fast...trust me! So did that post about being sad help you? |

Just try to phone him or something. Don't worry, I'd feel exactly the same way in your situation. |

Hang in there, you'll be ok! My hubby had to spend every weekend in NJ about 2 years ago b/c his aunt died and he and his brothers and sisters were left the house. There was alot to be fixed and he needed to be there every weekend. It was hard at first but I learned to hang in there and to catch up on some minor house repairs I could do here. Shopping didn't hurt either! LOL! This went on for 6 months or better,so consider yourself lucky. At least when he comes home he's not going back again the next week. You'll be ok! |

I know this might sound a bit lame, but do you have an article of clothing of his with his scent still on it? If so, it might help the lonlies if you cuddle it while he is gone. It used to help me so much. Best wishes for you. |

I hate to fly to...have you ever thought about taking a tranqualizer?? They really help. The last time I flew I took one and slept, I woke up in time to hear the captain say the airport was fogged in and we would have to circle, and circle, and circle, normally I would have freaked, but I simply went back to sleep... |
