Today I saw all there was to see,
Today I was all there was to be,
Today I felt all there was to feel,
Yet all my wounds have no time to heal,
For today I saw the scariest thing off all,
It was funny because it had been pinned up on the wall,
Pinned on the wall long before I had been born,
What I saw was all in front of me,
Today I saw the ghost in the mirror,
The ghost with void-like eyes,
The ghost that I had avoided for years,
The ghost that someone had made up as a facade,
Today I noticed the ghost in the mirror,
But the ghost wasn't there with void-like eyes,
And today I had not avoided it,
Today I saw an angel in the mirror,
And I know now,
