Conned me.. Good luck, hope everything will by great for you two! I am kind of in a long distance relationship. My fiance lives in a few towns over.. in the next state.. It's about a 30 minute drive. But I don't have my license, and he doesn't either, so its rough on us to not see each other until the weekend. But we first met, and started talking on the Internet cuz my mom and his Aunt work together and switched me and Vampyre Gerbil's email address together. We met on: September 11, 2001. Seriously. In 1998 our family (Amanda, Tamara, Brian and me) often visited an MSN Chatroom called #CultureCafe. It was a family chat room and my son found it. I met a young lady on there from Canada and I thought she was very nice. She and I talked a lot and one morning, before work, we were talking and she said we should talk on the phone sometime. I knw she had just started a new job at a school as a school teacher and didnt have her finances caught up, so I told her I would call her when I got home from work that afternoon. I left the number on the Computer Desk. WEll, my son came in, went to the puter and saw her number and he called her! lol... They were "infatuated" with each other right from the start! A group of Canadians from the site planned a "Room Meet" in Toronto for June (this was February) and he decided he HAD to go to meet PeekABoo ... He went, they met, and the rest is history, she is now my beautiful daughter-in-law and she moved down here with us and teaches school in a neighboring town.. Because of the Internet, my son is happily married and ALL of my family, including me, absolutely LOVE our PeekABoo!!! Anabel.. I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy for you!!! ahhhhhhh, Gail...feelin the fluff....feelin the fluff..lol! And I like it. What a great story! Do you guys still call her PeekABoo? lol! That habit, I think is sort of hard to break...the alias one...lol. But yes, I know it can work...and it helps to hear great stories like that to show people that there really isn't any "right" way to meet your one and only....so let's not be judgemental. We used to call her Peeky, short for PeekABoo, but yes, it was hard to break at first and call her by her real name, but they have been together for 4 years and married for nearly a year. The funny thing of this is that my son's name is William Brian.. William after my Dad and Brian because I LIKED it, and I ALWAYS called him Brian. When we got on the internet, he put his Nickname as William. So all the people on there called him William. And to this day, she still does, as does the rest of her family. It poses no problem though, it works for them Anabel.. you have a GREAT time with your Green Dream and THIS time make pics!!!! lolol.. And when you get back, we want DETAILS!!!! haha... huggggggs... |

my situation is kind of strange, because the last time I saw my bf was September, but we were just friends then. We only realized we both had stronger feeling for each other after talking on the phone. We used to work together, but now he's in the military, and we don't even know when he can come back even to visit. And i don't have any extra money to go visit him. It is hard (I'm sure you know, anabel), but I would much rather be together this way than not be with him at all. Does that make sense? lol |
