A Christmas story. . . or is it?

This really happened to me. You don't have to believe it. But it happened. I swear. I was on Christmas break, well, it was after Christmas, but we still had a week left. My sister and I have our rooms right across the hall from each other. Our windows where quite high off the ground so it took a very tall person to look through our windows. Now, You're asking, "why the heck do I care about your windows?" Well, I'm getting to it. You see, one cold night, I thought I heard someone walking around outside, but I often hear things so I blew it off. My door was open, and ten minutes after I heard whatever was outside, I saw my sister get up, walk around the house, and one by one, turn on all the lights on, on the first floor. About five minutes later she truned them off again. She went back to her room, and then a few minutes later got up, and repeated what she had done earlier. One by one, she flipped on all of our lights. But this time, she walked into my room, and truned my light.

"Michele!" She whispered. "Did you hear something outside?" I said no. And she continued to tell me that she heard something being dragged across our patio ( my sis slept close to the back yard). She then asked me to go in her room and listen. I did. But I didn't hear anything. My sister and I talked for awhile, when I heard something be dragged arcoss our patio outside! I woundered if it could be a dog, but it sounded to big to be a dog.

"Go get Mom and Dad!" She ordered me. So I did. Navy seal style, I crawled my way to the basement where their bedroom was. I got my mom and by the time we got back to my sisters room, she was behind her bed crying. I was scared because she was 17 and I had never seen her cry. She then told us that the sound got louder when I left and then she heard something bang under her window. ( I told you the window had something to do with it!)

We looked around for awhile, but saw nothing. My dad said to call the cops next time and that he would look around. My mom went downstaires to grab a flashlight. But as soon and my dad pulled out of the driveway. We heard someone run around the backyard, through our carport(tacky to have a carport, but you can hear things very well.) Run up our proch and jiggle, yes, jiggle our door knob! Sometimes killers will just go from door to door, check to see if it's locked, and if it is they will move on to the next one until they find one thats not. Needless to say, we didn't get any sleep that night. When Dawn broke, My family checked around the house since we could see better. And here is the creepy thing. We Had two bikes that had been up agenst the side of the house. But they had been dugged across our patio and were leaning beneath my sisters window so someone could stand on them and look though her window!

Did you get goosebumps? It may not seem that scary to you, but boy! Who needs to change their underpants?!

Changed the way we tighten our house at night. Muhahahaha!
