Okay, question: When I drive my car, at say 60kph (35mph), in third gear I am doing approximately 3000rpm, which is right in the meaty part of the torque curve of the motor. Now...when I drop the hammer the boost gauge peaks at 16pounds boost, there is a brief stutter (which never used to be there) for approximately a second before the car accelerates hard as normal. However, my air/fuel mixture and exhaust temperature meters are indicating I am possibly suffering a brief 'lean-out'. I have uprated the fuel management, fitted a V-Con Fuel Chip, Malpassi Fuel Regulator, larger fuel pump, larger fuel lines etc, fitted new 9mm Racing Leads and Platinum plugs, as well as a new coil...but the stutter still continues. Any clues on this? Also...even with an Electronic Boost Controller and an external Delta-gate I am still experiencing boost creep of approximately 2 pounds variation through 6000-7000rpm. Any help would be appreciated. Hehehe. Peace,  |
