"Mates"....kronk

Heading west towards Camelot,

I spied the awesome juggernaut.

Pristine land beneath his paw-

Life-blood dripping from his maw-

How can I stand against a beast so fell?

I turn and bid her... fare-thee-well.

For where I go...you cannot follow-

Should I prevail...we'll meet tomorrow-

"Nay," the maiden spoke to me.

"I'll stand beside you. Yeah..you'll see

that I was not bred for pouring tea.

Valour runs in my family."

She touched her mount...away she went-

I followed and thought...heaven sent,

this maid to me that I not falter.

But live..and take her to the altar-

Before the monster, we both stood-

It broke the stone and burned the wood-

I hurled my lance..She sang her song-

For back and forth..for long and long-

All that day and the night we fought-

The maid and me and the juggernaut.
