It seemed I'd never find someone
It was like I was destined to be alone.
But now I feel like it's finally been done.
And my love has really shown.
He came into my life as a friend.
I didn't even know it at the time,
But I'd be there with him till the end.
If I couldn't see that, I'd be blind.
He told me the way that he felt.
Luckily it was the same as I.
And I'm glad the way that I dealt.
