This poem is very dear to me ~Fairy Wings~

I wrote this to go into the program for our 8th grade dance that we had on the 17th...it means a lot to me because i really love my school. I hope you enjoy.


~The Last Dance~

As I think back to the very first day of school
Thinking the 8th graders were oh, so cool
Going into seventh, but still looking up
Hoping we can be 8th graders that are just as tough

Now 8th graders we all are
And i'm wishing on a passing star
That I will be able to say goodbye
And try my best not to cry

Three whole years of my life have been spent inside these walls
There have been many ups and very many falls
Many friends gained, many things learned
This "Graduation" to high school, everyone has earned

But I don't want to leave
I just can't believe
That it's really rime to go on
As we dance to the very last song
