I don't get it either my aunt and uncle had a german sheperd and my uncle refused to neuter the thing until he got testicular cancer or whatever...he always said he felt 'bad' for the dog and he wouldn't want someone 'doing that to him' *Shrugs* I dunno poor thing lived to about 10 before they had to put him down...  |

kurt, that would be anthropomorphicizing, not empathy. plus, they have these things called "neuticals" that are like little implants so that your dog still looks the same and he won't even know they are gone. heehee, those neutical things just crack me up, lol. luv -MaceyHope  |

I think for the men, the mere thought of changing what's "down there" makes them want to cross their legs! Well, either that or maybe a man's subconcious attitude is to "sow his wild oats" so if he would be unwilling to do it to himself, he would be unwilling to put the dog through it.  |

When I took my dog to be neutered, I kept making jokes about Renie being "clipped" to the vet and staff. Everyone laughed except the Doc and he kept grimacing and kinda bending over as if it was him being "fixed". That was funny itself watching a man being that sensitive. LOL!  |
