Are PSI Balls An Internet Hoax? (No, this doesn't belong in the ESP section.) **Frankenstein

There isn't a single day that goes by where I don't see at least one post about so-called PSI balls. There are all sorts of fantastic claims but I have my serious doubts. According to these posts, you are supposed to be able to draw some sort of energy into your body somehow and then make it come out your hands so that it concentrates between them and forms an energy ball. For what purpose, I don't have a clue. Some are even so bold as to say that they have seen them. This is only a more common one among the many outrageous claims. I may be wrong but it seems to me that every single person who posts about this subject is a teenager or younger. Is this a new teen thing? Is it a new fad or something? Is it the 'cool' thing to talk about? If there is no validity to any of this, why does it seem to preoccupy the minds of so many on a daily basis? I would love to hear what all of the 'regular' folks think about this.

To anyone who claims to be able to physically and visually demonstrate this ability in any capacity, I lay down this challenge. Submit a URL to this post where we may all see the proof for ourselves or I fear that we will all just go on believing it to be nonsense and it will be disreguarded as senseless chatter. Before anyone tells me how they are so great at it and then offers the lame excuse of not having any way of getting evidence on the web, I say in advance, "Bull." Digital cameras are about as common as cell phones today and if you don't have one, you won't have to look very far to find someone who does. I'm not just talking about a still photo here necessarily. That might be sufficient but it could also be a movie. Those cameras can do that too, ya know. Now go ahead and impress me!

Date: 5/13/2002 2:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 46515    This post made me laugh. Yeah, you're right. it IS bizarre. I haven't a clue as to what it is that you've heard, but it does sound stupid.
Date: 5/13/2002 2:40:00 AM  From Authorid: 42945    well Frank, thanx for posting this as I was wondering what on earth those posts were about LOL!!!I thought it was because I was too old or not up on things LOL!!!!!!cheers Zema
Date: 5/13/2002 3:26:00 AM  From Authorid: 21867    Yo Frank,
Well...I've seen a whole lotta wierd stuff in my time, so I'm not about to discount anything. But, that said, I do have my doubts that IF this is real its as easy as some people claim it to be. I know a few people who do seem to possess some rather 'interesting' abilities...but making balls of energy is not only of them...they are also predominately older and far more spiritually advanced than most teenagers I know who seem so obsessed with these things. Peace,

Date: 5/13/2002 3:35:00 AM  From Authorid: 26733    Psi energy is proven to be a bi product of the mind - proven by Russian scientist. If you want pictures of psi balls go to psipog.org the site may not be fully up as its switching servers. Psi balls are widely talking about by the youngins because they get all excited over it because its very basic, pretty much anyone can do it. This is not a new teen thing at all, this has been around for a very long time – under the name energy ball. You don’t hear about older individuals (psychic practitioners) talking about psi balls because it’s not a big deal if you can do it. A true psi community doesn’t talk about flying and doesn’t mention KI – as when thinking of KI we think of Dragon Ball Z and all the rejects that want to be like Goku and fly and blow things up. People don’t realize that is a impossible to do a lot of the things on DBZ – air is kind of hard to breath when it becomes thin and air pressure would kill you.

Date: 5/13/2002 4:00:00 AM  From Authorid: 50249    I agree with you Frank!!!
Date: 5/13/2002 5:04:00 AM  From Authorid: 52204    I agree with Boom Boom. We don't have enough psychic and spiritual energy in our bodies to channel a wave of destruction, fire an energy ball, or cut through a rock pinnacle with our bare hands, as is done in Dragon Ball Z. The kind of power we can use is moving objects with our minds, this does not include moving anything heavier than 5-10 pounds, creating energy balls, these cannot be fired, and astral projection, you can not enter someone elses body during your spiritual travels. There are a few more things we have the ability to do, but I won't go into them. -+=Dream_Weaver15=+-
Date: 5/13/2002 5:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 48993    LMBO frank!! it seems too pokemon-ish ~~~~ i dunno . i am hearing aganet smith though , who am i to discredit anything? i myself have seen things some people would say "bull" to ....i dunno what the deal is with it all! LOL but i got a kick out of this post!
Date: 5/13/2002 6:37:00 AM  From Authorid: 53806    I believe that the young ones want to learn this for the sake of having some type of power over others, personally I'm sick of hearing about it too, the truth is in the pudding as they say!
Date: 5/13/2002 6:44:00 AM  From Authorid: 46527    Whereas I do believe that it is possible to feel energy as a form of resistance between the hands (from practising Tai Chi), I do wonder about the validity of these posts on PSI balls.
Date: 5/13/2002 11:28:00 AM  From Authorid: 26733    53806 - sad but true. Thinking by making a psi ball they are above all and they take on the status of 'teacher' of psi from making a psi ball. Mostly everyone that is a seriouse practitioner in psychic work or energy manipulation has made a psi ball. I see a lot of boasting going on in the ESP section and I cant stand it thats why I just dont reply to the story.comment - better to let it go. Ah well, have a peachy day everybody
Date: 10/11/2002 5:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 47584    I dont belive in psi balls. i don't see how imagining energy flowing can acualy make something
