Ok, once I got a birthday card from a friend that was about 1 week late. So naturally I expect it to say something like, "I gave you this card late not becuase I forgot you, but because I wanted to make my present extra special." But instead, now this really got me laughing, I still laugh at it now, "For fear of sending you another belated card, just take this one as an advancement on your next birthday. Happy Birthday."
