some people * shakes head* i have always felt that acceptance is the key to a better world , and those people that live like this and seek material things instead of being a better person and a spiritual being.... will loose out in the big picture!! so sad for them |

I'd like to live somewhere like the first sentence you described. I like to live in my own world though too-- I could care less what others think of me and how I dress (which is just your normal jeans and tshirt kind of thing). I can't stand materialistic people though, they annoy the heck out of me and I tend to look down on them rather than up to them. I'd rather make in difference in others lives by being a friend than be a friend in a group only because of what I own and wear, I hope you understood what I just said-- it's kind of confusing.... |

materialistic little darlings-- esp. if they're bigoted little darlings --amuse me these days, & are only worthy of pity altho it's hard not to sneer at them...if anyone's got a bigoted ego it means they've hellacious fears they don't want seen, but guess what...in flaunting what they have-- or think they have --they're only revealing that which they don't. sad ain't it, tho some may grow out of it as maturity hits. cheers, |
