"Fly away"....kronk

On a warm and muggy morning

my spirit did go roaming,

away from southern lattitudes,

up towards the northern way.

Soaring high, I marked the boundries of

the ancient inland sea.

I tore across the jet-stream,

as the ice rain pelted me.

Veering west I looked upon

the wide Missouri Breaks,

then crossed the land of the Iowas

to the great cold-water lakes.

In that land of ancient stone and greenwood

I am seeking-

A woman-child, whose heart

is always open to my treating-

Leather wings are folded

at the moment of the dawn.

Into the olden wood before

the sentinel's alarm-

Sense the furtive footfalls-

Hear the panting of the hound-

Feel the love and tenderness-

Her arms encircle round-

Sweet perfume of woman

emanating all through me-

One so kind and wonderful

that she would hug a tree-

Anabel, Oh White Lady. Thank you for your soothing words, my friend...:)

Date: 5/13/2002 2:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 34775    Oh Kronk, how wonderful....you will always be welcome here in the land of sky blue waters...here in spirit...when I walk in the woods...or hug a tree...I wonder what it would be like to come from another place, other than this one I have always known...in all this space here, and within me, Kronk always has his place. Thank you my friend, thinking about you and your family, and thanking the stars that I have made a friend in you~ Ana
