Hey I am new here!!! As soon as I saw the subject I just had to read it, the same thing has happen to me many times, actully it just happen to me recenty but this time it was diff, my cat wasn't letting me sleep so I put him outside of my room and close my door, when I laid down something crawl on me moving towards me and then i was moving this time but in slow motion it felt as someone was holding me down, actully there was something holding me down, 2 ghost, I could not see them one was bigger then the other one, they were invisable but I could see a image very clear image which u can see thur. This time I could yell but my mom didn't hear me her room is right next to mine. I kept fighting and fighting intill they let me go, and I ran to my door to run to my moms room and I felt it holding me again but I got out, and I told my mom. I am 17years old, 18 in a month, funny thing is it only happens when I sleep alone and this time it was diff, before I couldn't move at all or say a word or didn't see anything, now I did. I have seen ghost before and I wasn't able to sleep alone for a long long time when I was little its been recenty i am able to sleep alone, but still with a night light. Its really freaky, and a friend of mine said that I was put in a mute world for a few mins and its bad. I dunno what to do, my cat can see them too sometimes, my bed crack last night when i went to the bathroom I heard my bed crack and my cat looked at it and I was like... ok i am not crazy my cat saw it too, my cat follows me everywhere and he keeps me safe, cats are known to trapghosts in their eyes and protect you so i am glad I have a cat. I am so scare at night many weird things have happen to me, and I find it to be a gift... maybe we have to find out what it is. Confused, ~Crystal |

Lavonne, yep this happened to my girls all the time for awhile, the only way they could get out of this, as its called astro dream and it IS not from God. Anyway the only thing they could do is start to scream JESUS in their head, and then soon they would be able to move. There is more to it, if you want more answers msg me. |

i've had this happen and i wrote a story about it. and someone replied to it and was talking about sleep paralysis. its interesting to read about. and it makes alot of sence and explains alot of things too. it says that people have sometimes felt an evil presence in the room and stuph like that. but it is scary to wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to move or scream or anything. when it happened to me i just prayed and i could finally move again. |

The experience you had is actually fairly common. I think it's called sleep paralysis, and it's often accompanied with a feeling that there's a presence in the room (or holding you down so that you can't move). I remember hearing that when we sleep, our bodies produce a chemical that paralyses us so that we don't thrash around while we're dreaming, and sometimes we wake up while the chemical is still working. Hope this helps! (Don't worry, it's not a demon or anything like that. That's what they used to think in medieval Europe.) |
