It Isn't What It Seems

As you walk down the path of life, you will fall upon many different paths to chose from. I know you think it seems simple, but choices you will learn, are not always fun. They are most of the time hard and daring. People seem to believe if it looks easy then it must be; even when they know that most of the time it is not. When I was young, I was taught a very valuable story. Now this little tale is a defined example of how life is when you take a long hard look and not just a swift glance. Now, as I had begun in the beginning. You will fall upon many different paths in your life, and which one you chose is totally up to you. Sure tales from your childhood, tales from your ancestors history, or small little lessons taught for a certain purpose; will defiantly brighten your future. Still how YOU chose to reflect and leave your marks is the most important thing you could look back on remember. Now this I will tell you. As your walking down your path, you fall upon a slice in your path. You look to your right and find a path so beautiful even the most demonic creature would love to gander upon. It looks so perfect. It looks the shortest, one with out any flaw. It is a straight and narrow path with out any rocks nor weeds. Yet it does not offer any adventure or competition. Still it looks as though it would only take you such a short while, you would feel as though you cheated. Now you look to the path on your left and find that it is the exact opposite of the first. It is wide, very rocky and full of weeds. It looks very hard for someone to travel upon, but makes you want to try just to see if you are strong enough to conquer it. You know that it will take you almost a life time to reach the end. Yet at the end you have a feeling that you will be secured and strong enough to take on any path in your midst. Which ever path you chose you will have lessons learned, but the right ones will only come from honesty and hard work. With that you will be set to wander with out any fear of what lies ahead, because you know you have worked hard to get to where you are. So which path will you decide to chose? Or may I ask what kind of future do you think you deserve after traveling such a path? I thought so. That is the path I know many will chose; to be strong in heart, soul, and mind. So remember it isn't how every thing looks at first sight, but how it will make you feel after you have studied it keenly and found it to be something that will offer you more than just an easy way out.
