Thats a very interesting thought. The smell of flowers. It could be a pure prediction or it could even be some sort of message. Or maybe its just a coincidence. I think you should decide. I personaly think it has to do with you or her worrying about it all the time. Perhaps this has brought the smell to your attention. |

It has been said that prayers smell sweet like flowers to God. Pam, a former member of USM would pray for people here and I was one of many that could smell flowers whenever she did. It was the most soft, sweet, fragrant smell one could smell. Makes me think God gave flowers their scents to show what our prayers smell like to him....Love to you, |

Well I heard people smell stuff when they have epilepsy, but I am sure that is not the reason you smell flowers. I really do not know the reson people smell a scent of flowers sometimes I have never had an experiance with that. Your post almost made me want to cry! You describe your grandmother so beautifully and the ending of her life so tragic (I am sure it was but the way you describe her was very different from anything I have read on this site) I also found your devotion to your grandmother like none other! Not many people realize how precious our grandparents are to us. Great post! |

I am sorry you have lost your grandmother ,but you will meet her again someday! It is always hard to lose a loved one, even when we know that we all will survive death! These scents that you smell, are such a common thing that those who have passed over do to let us know that they have arrived safely on the other side! She is well once again and wants you to know it! She can see you and she can hear you, and she is aware that you remember what her funeral flowers smell like, so that is why she creates this fragrance and sends it to you, because she knows you will recognize it and know it is from her! This is the truth from the spirit teachers and angels... not from me! I know this is true though , because I have had it happen lots and lots of times myself! I hear from many people who have these same experiences and write to me because they know that I am interested in the metaphysical. They tell me that the churches do not help them with the questions they want to know about. They tell me stories about the experiences that they have had from their own loved ones who have passed on.Some are very remarkable! I hope this helps you to understand what is going on! Posey |

I agree with Posey! It is your Grandma's way to reach you. To tell you: "Hey sweetheart, I'm looking up on you once in a while and I love you." Some people will get a taste in their mouth like cigar, but they don't smoke. The particular taste of a sugar pie the deceased was used to make. Smell is very popular though. And it is a smell that will trigger memories of only one person. It is unmistakable. So, you've been visited! Next time, take the occasion to talk to her. She will be really happy that you acknowledge her Axeva |

Thank you all so much for your comments. It really means alot. My grandmother was like a best friend to me. We were so close. She was a very precious part of my life, and always will be. Just the thought of her looking down on me and wanting to reach me makes me want to cry. Thank you all once again and God bless! LuV-Shelley |

I think its just a way that your grandmother is telling you she's always gonna be with you in some way |
