one that gives birth

for they give freely
of love and heart
and they protect
right from the start
they bring new life
to those in need
they share your pain
when you bleed
they share your joy
and sometimes sorrow
when happy today
becomes sad tomorrow
being a MOM
don't always start
with pains of birth
it comes from heart
it comes from something
found deep within
like beauty it's more
than just the skin
it's found in those
like you and me
that live and love
