Prayer Before Death +[JenTheLonely]+

Hey, this is a poem that I had to do for English class. The thing about the poem is to tell society what you think before you die. My class had to read their poems outloud and everyone had to write about the same topic. I'm not really a pro at poetry but I did get an A+ on it and my teacher liked it. :) So here it is. :

I am not yet dead; Remember me.
Learn from our mistakes anad inspirations
Cherish the good times and forget about the bad
Don't forget me.

I am not yet dead; Don't cry for me.
I'll always be with you as long as you remember me
I'll be with you whenever you're sad, happy, or mad
Believe me.

I am not yet dead; Pray for me.
Pray that I'll live longer, to get a second chance
Pray and have faith in God to accept me.

I am not yet dead; Comfort me.
I'm sad as much as you are, afraid and nervous too
Say good-bye and hug me.

I am not yet dead; Forgive me.
Accept my apologies for being bad
For the times I rebelled, yelled, and cursed.
Forgive me.

I am not yet dead; Talk to me.
Tell me whats been bothering you
Making you wonder and complain
Speak to me.

I am not yet dead; Listen to me.
I'll tell stories about my personal life
Say what I think about you
And give my thanks
Hear me.

I am not yet dead; Be proud of me.
Be proud of me for my accomplishments
For my knowledge and for my self-lessness
Appreciate me.
